Detailed Reviews
Wortley Cottage Guest House is a delightful stay. It feels so clean. When you lay your head on the pillow it smells fresh and clean. I so dislike it, when I can smell dead skin on the linen. The Shower is also clean and powerful enough. The couple who manage the property are friendly and very professional, keen to make your stay enjoyable. The surrounding countryside is also beautiful. A space of natural beauty. Breakfast was delicious, and I enjoyed having tea from a teapot. Breakfast is had at the dining table, and brought to you. I enjoyed the variety that was available. Definitely value for money. This was my second stay and I would happily return, if the opportunity arises.

Property's Favorite Review
My annual visit to Wortley Guest House was as good as its always been this is my fourth visit. A very warm welcome for me and my doggie. Despite my late arrival and me being a bit grumpy after a long journey Su and Tony opened their shop to let me get something for tea above and beyond nothing is too much trouble. A lovely village with easy parking wonderful historic building large clean room with comfy bed and spacious en suite with great shower. Lovely vege breakfast prepared by Su again nothing is too much trouble for her. Great hosts all weekend. Will be back again next year.

Wortley is a beautiful village within easy reach of main routes to other places. The hosts, Su and Tony, are kind, welcoming and nothing seems too much trouble. The rooms are quiet, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast can be brought to your room and this has been our third stay over with them. There is a gastropub next door if you wished to treat yourselves.
We would thoroughly recommend Wortley Cottage Guest House in all respects.

Great stay, fantastic breakfast, made very welcome.
Would definitely recommend. We were at a party at Wortley Hall which was very busy so it was nice to get away to somewhere quiet. Very friendly hard working couple who also run the village shop and post office and deserve all the support from visitors to the area. Wortley Hall is also worth a visit with amazing views.
