Dropped by for lunch a few days ago and enjoyed a superb homemade soup and a beautiful venison and juniper casserole. Served in the intimate conservatory restaurant by a small team of really friendly and hospitable people. Callum was running the show and Wayne the Sous Chef was running the kitchen. I can seriously recommend a visit here.

This hotel has all the ingredients that make a hotel stand out. The rooms are spacious and very well maintained. The staff, from owner down, are attentive and ensure from the minute you arrive there are no problems. The meals, whether breakfast, a snack or dinner are excellent. The menu in the evening changes daily and the choices varied. If...

The attention to detail for this lovely small hotel cannot be faulted - excellent service - friendly helpful and attentive staff made our short stay very enjoyable. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home - the room was lovely and well equipment including a phone charger! Wonderful food and a very nice ambiance - look...

We met some old friends for lunch here on Mothering Sunday. We ate in the conservatory after a drink in the bar. The menu was good with a selection of dishes and snacks. The staff were welcoming, helpful and courteous with orders taken promptly and food served in good time but without any hurry. The food was well-presented, nicely cooked...

We had lunch Saturday 25/3/17 in the conservatory (the day after the hotel had reopened). We both had the soup supposedly celeriac and apple, it did not taste of either, was very thin and looked like a bowl of milk with some herb added. I had the breaded haddock, the fish was very good but the coating was not attached...

Thank you very much for taking the time to review your recent visit to our Bar Conservatory - I am sorry you found it such a disappointing experience. I am not ging to go into each comment individuality - there seems little point as I can't change things, but I will just say that the chips are not frozen but...

We had an excellent family dinner in the conservatory just off the bar. The staff and manager were friendly and welcoming. The menu was excellent with a mixture of pub grub and interesting scottish dishes. The meal was good value given the ambiance and quality of the food. Recommended

Our welcome was friendly, and the check-in was rapid and efficient. Our room was well-appointed, comfortable and everything worked properly. Two bottles of water were provided. There is a turn-down service, which is unusual in a small hotel. A nice added feature of the service was that we got hot-water bottles in our beds, for the weather was chilly. There...

Staying at Killiecrankie is like staying with a friend who has the prettiest house in a stunning setting, bedrooms which are beautifully decorated and a dining room with the most heavenly food. Henrietta is a terrific hostess who runs an exceptional hotel, most of her guests seem to return frequently and I can understand why. The staff are delightful, helpful...

A small country house hotel set in beautiful grounds. Enjoyed lunch and an evening meal both of which were excellent. An extensive menu using much local produce. We ate in the conservatory but there is also an excellent dining room. Friendly and attentive staff. Well worth a visit.

Rooms were sort of country house style, not the largest but good enough. Restaurant fine as was breakfast. Host very helpful. Nice walks in the area and not far from the lovely Pitlochry. Adequate paring available
