The Laguna Holiday Corfu hotel offers a picturesque location lauded by many guests, with its proximity to scenic beaches a notable highlight. While some travelers have praised the clean, spacious rooms and the hotel's elegant atmosphere, others have reported maintenance and cleanliness issues, along with a lack of vibrancy in entertainment options. The pool areas receive compliments, but the food and beverage offerings have faced criticism. Service quality appears to vary, with commendations for staff friendliness countering reports of neglect. Guests are divided on the hotel's value for money.

After a year of closure we have just had a fantastic holiday in Corfu. Every member of staff is working hard to ensure the hotel is in good order and that all guests enjoy their stay.
Our room on the second floor was nice and cleaned regularly with a spectacular "sea lake" view
We went for all inclusive and the food was excellent every day freshly cooked not left out for ages and great choice too.
The walking distance to the beach was just a few minutes. Very impressed,
Thank you for making our holiday wonderful.

We are a couple of 30 & 34 years old and stayed at the Laguna Holiday Resort for 12 nights in August 2021.
We originally booked the nearly located Mareblue Beach Resort, but since that experience of 2 nights was way below our expectation, we were very happy to be transferred to Laguna Holiday Resort by our travel agency. Our stay in this hotel made us quickly forget the Mareblue.

Arriving at Laguna, we were warmly welcomed by the sympathetic receptionist Andrea, who immediately made us feel at ease. Later, we also met her super friendly colleagues Christina and Daniela who are always in for a chat and are the best listeners. The reception team would do anything within their possibilities to keep the guests happy.
Even the hotel manager George welcomed us personally and assured us that we could always pass by him or his right hand Markos with questions or remarks.
We received the requested quietly located double deluxe room. Andrea accompanied us, to make sure we liked the room. It was a modern, spacious room with a large balcony that offered a view on the lake as well as on the sea. Every morning we could wake up enjoying the gorgeous sunrise from our beds. What else do you need?!
The restaurant’s food was varied and tasteful and the choise was huge. The waiters (such as Ada, Merita and Liliana) are very hard working and brighten up every day.
The mutual atmosphere between all workers throughout the hotel is excellent and as a guest you can certainly feel that. Maître d'hôtel Kostas is always in the right place at the right time and makes sure everything runs smoothly.
By the pool you can enjoy the entertainment program, which never gets you bored. The animation team is present every day but they are not pushy at all. You can enjoy your much needed rest during the animation team’s afternoon break. Eliana and Antigoni are the nicest pool bar ladies who make the best cocktails.
The last positive thing is that we never really had to queue for drinks or at the restaurant’s buffet, even though it was high season. Everything was well organised.

We will miss the hotel and the lovely people working there enormously and will definitely return one day.
At the moment, Laguna Holiday Resort is still quite an undiscovered treasure, so book now or cry later!
Lots of love and thankfulness to the team from Emilie and Danny 😘😘😘 (Belgian/Dutch couple😉).

Hands down one of the best resorts i've been to. everything was on point! the food, the drinks, cocktails at the pool bar...our bungalow room was perfect! clean and spacious with our own private pool. the best thing about this place though, are the people! everyone was always helpful, friendly and big smiles! big big thank you to the hotel manager, who was always there to make sure we have everything we need and everything is up to our standards. i really hope to be back here again! big love from Estonia!

Where to start, the location albeit sparse was relatively beautiful. The hotel itself however came with quite a few negatives. The basics of having a clean room on a daily basis was not suffice, going for 4 days with no clean towels or linen even though the expectation to clean the room every day and change towels every 2 days. After complaining to the manager (previous clean being done only after asking them 3-4 times). The manager said he would sort this out (the only thing done was to send someone to give us a couple of towels and that's it). Food is almost the same every day, not warm enough and tasteless. Recycled from the day before. Every morning you'll be up early thanks to the cleaning and gardening staff shouting around at stupid hours of the morning. The pool bar is simple and boring, even in an all inclusive this consisted of a couple of cheap boring "cocktails", if you want better drinks you'll have to pay. Entertainment is close to nothing, or mostly catered for French clientele. You'll hear a lot of heated arguments between the staff and many more. 100% would never come back nor recommend. The only positive thing here are the guys at the food/canteen bit who work tirelessly and the guy at cocktail bar (evening shift) always greeted with a great attitude. P.s nothing around location wise, you'd have to rent out a car or bike. Bring mosquito repellent as you’re sure to be eaten alive!

Response from Greg P, General Manager at Laguna Holiday Corfu
Responded Jun 18, 2023
Dear Madam, thank you for your letter and we apolozise for that experience. The only thing we can comment it's sad you found nothing to please you during your stay with us neither the location, nor the hotel, nor the food, nor the drinks, nor the room, nor the staff, nor the entertainment, nor the local area, nor the other guests staying in the hotel. Usually in such cases guests request hotel relocation from the tour operators, but obviously you didnt.

I attended the Laguna holiday resort at the end of August 2022 with my partner.

Where do we start. Firstly we paid a lot of money to come here and on talking to other guests it seems we paid well over the odds.

The hotel is located next to a lagoon hence the name, more of a large pond from which there are loads of mosquitoes so be prepared to get bitten.

The hotel room was spacious with a bed wardrobe and a tv on the wall. The tv had a rubbish reception and there was no smart facility to link your phone to it. The bathroom was smelly and the maid never cleaned the sink or shower once whilst we were there. The safety deposit box was just placed in the wardrobe was t even fixed to a wall or anything so you could just pick it up and walk out. Our room was in the first floor facing to the front of the hotel. There was a bug virander so any person could walk right up to your window so no real privacy.

The facilities in the hotel are rubbish. There is no bar in the hotel. Well there was a room with a beer tap that didn’t work !!

The all inclusive was a joke. I expected to be able to go get food and snacks at anytime through out the day. This just wasn’t the case. The only time you could get food was at set meal times. They did bring out water melon and some sandwiches to the pool side but there is no facilities to go grab anything. The pool bar serves drinks which are limited and taste like terps. The beer is ok.

The pool is salt water! The toilets behind the pool bar are probably the most revolting toilets I have ever been in. I’m ex army and by god I have taken a dump in better places!!

The entertainment is funny. Mainly French people here and polish.

Needles to say I was very disappointed the food was not great and if your taking kids good luck!!!
Mainly salads and pasta with the odd days with chicken and pork no great selection. There are no labels for food allergies etc

So to round it up I wouldn’t go here again. But if you decide to don’t say I didn’t tell you so

Firstly the hotel is new and looks nice on arrival, but is clearly very cheaply built and everything is falling apart. The shower is literally hanging off the wall. There’s a huge crack down the wall.

Cleanliness:The toilets are never cleaned, everytime I’ve used them they are filthy.
The pool itself is covered in dirt, cigarette butts, plasters.
the sun loungers are stained and have food over them (again not cleaned)
There’s so many wasps around because drinks are left for hours unattended and spilt and not cleaned. Our bedsheets and towels are both stained (with make up / blood).

The food is terrible it’s literally the same thing day in day out just recycled into “new dishes”.

The cutlery and cups are dirty and often had food on them, meaning picking up a few plates until you find one which seems clean. The bread in the morning was covered in mould. I have spent 6/7 days feeling unwell and vomiting.

I’ve witnessed about 5 people putting their hands into the ice bucket, and pick food up with hands then putting it back.

(No hand Sanitizer anywhere in the restaurant )
Alot of the staff are rude and are only interested in French people. The waiting staff are polite however and Paris on reception too.

The entertainment is only in French, others aren’t even invited to join. It is extremely unwelcoming. I am not even a sociable person and I still felt very unsettled during my stay. Also at night there is absolutely nothing to do & being out of the way you can’t even walk anywhere.

I would really suggest you spend your money elsewhere!

I do not recommend this hotel to families with little kids. Food is worse than terrible. Every day you can expect food from yestwrday or the day before, totally nothing eatable for children, for 10 days my kids ate grapes, watermelon and spaghetti with napoli.
Also for adults food was terrible, for sure not as it should be in 4* hotel. Breakfasts were the worst.
Rooms were quite clean but when you look behind shelf or under the shower you immediatly regret it.
Swimmingpools are average, kids pool dye your skin in blue, main pool with holes at the bottom.
Luckly there are shops, restaurant and foodtruck nearby so you can buy something to eat. We were big group of 5 families, from the beggining I asked for bungalows but we didnt get them (i thank its a Travel agency mistrale). After few days and our holiday representative intervension we were moved there and it helped to save our holidays just a little bit.
Last but not least when we were in main building we had Ants in bathroom

We had our vacation on Laguna holiday Resort and as it seemed we did our best choice! The hotel was quite far from the noise of the cars and traffic, ideal for families and couples! The beach was 5 mins far from the hotel and if you would like a sunbed it’s costs 8 euro, it was a beautiful beach with rich sand and beautiful sunset! The room cleaning was regular and the hotel generally was very clean and neat .Everything in the hotel was brand new , the mattress was very good and we slept very well in the night. The food was DELICIOUS, the quantity was enough for the people hosted and the quality was excellent we enjoyed so much and we re very thankful to the chef, closing up the people working in the hotel were always with a big smile and willing to help us in anything we asked for! Polite and kind! To be honest we were a little afraid to book the hotel due to some bad comments but finally we did the best choice by booking it. For us Laguna is highly recommend!

A spectacular hotel in an amazing location. Beautiful decor throughout, rooms and suites in the main hotel and bungalows with private pools. The main pool area has bar, very comfortable sun beds and plenty of them and there is a separate pool with children’s play area nearby.
A large dining room with sliding doors with pool around it and views over the river and lake area.
Food is delicious and plentiful with so much choice of hot and cold dishes, a grill area, beautiful salads and amazing deserts that all melt in the mouth.
Entertainment includes pool aerobics, casino night, cinema night, DJ music and traditional Greek night. A 2 minute walk through the bungalows takes you to a stunning sandy beach, sun beds and umbrellas, shallow water, safe for everyone. Shop, bars and taverna.
All of the staff treated us like VIPs. Special mention to the manager George who was so welcoming and will do anything for you to make your stay perfect. Thanks to the reception staff, Christina, & restaurant maitre d, Kosta, ( hope I got it right) you were all lovely. This is a really superior hotel with a chilled vibe and if you have never been to Corfu or are looking for somewhere different definitely come stay here, you will not be disappointed.

Nice new hotel near the beach in quiet area. Sometimes problem to get a taxi or rent a car because of the busy period, but the hotel provides free transfer to the nearest villages daily, but make sure you book it in advance. Helpful, and always available staff, consistently making sure customers feel welcome.. The girls at the reception very friendly and mr. George the manager of the hotel very nice man! Also the cleaners did very good job just to make you feel comfortable.
Food was tasty and cooked every day fresh.
We would like to come back again one day. Thank you for making our holiday unforgettable.
