Not much to add to the other reviews-they're pretty spot on. Maika (Maria Carmen) is a superb host. Wilmer is delightful. She manages to run the house efficiently but it's still a wonderfully casual experience. My room was in the main house upstairs-very cute. The wifi is strong in the rooms and the bathroom was spacious and spotless. Lovely enormous...

We arrived at the guest house late afternoon. We were greeted by a man in charge who spoke no English at all. As a result it took a long time to book in. We followed him down a dark passage at the back of an out building to our room. Inside a narrow passage went past the bathroom to a...

Comfortable & spotlessly clean rooms, a warm welcome from Maica, well looked after by Wilmur, breakfast laid out in a delightful sitting room each morning contained fresh produce, something a little difference each day. Local restaurant & friendly tapas bar within easy walking distance. A perfect alternative to staying in Santiago de Compostela. Address recognised by Apple Maps. Beautiful house,...

I echo the sentiment of many of the other people who have stayed here and written about it on Tripadvisor, particularly Hannah below, who says that she would return to Spain just to stay at Pazo Cibran. We loved Santiago, but even if we had not, Maica and Chino (Wilmur) made us so welcome and comfortable, we would make a...

I will return to Spain in order to stay at Pazo Cibran again. I guess you could call it a hidden gem as it is just outside the city of Santiago De Compostela. Maica (the owner) was one of the most touching people I met while on a 4 month journey through Europe. She made me feel completely at home,...

I went there with trepidation as was concerned that we were not staying at a five star hotel. My misgivings were completely misplaced - what a quaint lovely place - a home rather than a hotel. We were warmly welcomed along with our five pugs - maica could not have been warmer nor more helpful. The rooms were spotless and...

Talk about cozy and quaint country living!!! This is the spot. We were a total of nine people (combined ages) on a family vacation and all of us found a lot of love of this hidden treasure. The vineyard in the backyard, the stringed lit outdoor patio for a family get-together, the comfortable and clean accommodations, home cooking, the local...

This "Pazo" is a real "treasure": a great location near to Santiago de Compostela with a fantastic atmosphere (house, garden, park), a wonderful, charming and lovable host (her name is Maica/ Carmen) and a great place to celebrate! I recently celebrated my special birthday in the Pazo Cibrán, together with 35 friends from 10 different nations, and ALL OF US...

We can't say enough wonderful things about Maika and her charming, comfortable rural hotel near Santiago. She is a gem! From welcoming wine, to delicious breakfasts, lively conversations even though we didn't know Spanish, to help with directions and sights she was always there for us. Her inn is quaint and homey and the grounds are lovely. Comfortable rooms and...

It was ridiculously difficult to find. When we got there, they were expecting us the NEXT day! (despite having booked about 2 months earlier!). However, they were very apologetic and found us a room, which was fine. Unfortunately they couldn't serve dinner (cos we weren't expected) but recommended Restaurante Roberto nearby, where we had an excellent meal. Unfortunately we had...
