AMAZING food, rooms, and people. Monkeys, toucans, and other birds/wildlife EVERYWHERE!!! Super nice common areas for games, bar, kitchen, relaxing etc. Nice grounds with birding platforms and a river walk. Great thatched roof bungalows and a few critters that go along with that:) Great tourist trips. I recommend the birding, butterfly, and caving trips. Such a lovely place!

We had high hopes for Crystal Paradise, but were slightly disappointed. The lodge grounds are beautiful and the food prepared by the ladies in the kitchen was fantastic every breakfast and dinner. But even though the lodge is 9 km back from town, it is still on a busy section of road and you can hear the neighborhood houses with...

Simply beautiful. We loved this hotel. Great service and gorgeous grounds. Good location. The rooms: Get the cheapest room, is the best!! I went with my boyfriend for 2 nights in crystal. We reserved the most expensive room (forgot the name. Cottage I believe). We got there and hated that room it had no views. It was too much like...

Really enjoyed our trip to Belize. Crystal Paradise provided an amazing escape into the jungle. They picked us up from the airport and set up all of our trips while there. I highly recommend the "ATM" tour which is actually Actun Tunichil Muknal and was amazing. The food was home cooked and the family was always around and very helpful....

I think it is important to note two items. First, my family has traveled all over the world and stayed in some pretty rustic jungle lodgings (Nicaragua, the Amazon, etc.) before without issue, we aren't big complainers. Second, the weather was extremely hot/humid, upper 90's and may not have been normal for that time of year adding to some of...

My husband and I recently spent three nights at the end of April at Crystal Paradise during the first leg of our dream vacation to Belize! We were greeted at the airport by Eric who then took us directly to the Belize Zoo. Because there were not many people staying at the resort at this time Eric was our guide...

I spent 7 months in planning our 9-day birding trip to Belize. We decided not to take any birding package because we are "DIY" kind of birders. We are serious birders with wide age range (from 7-year-old to 70-year-old) and various medical conditions AND on a budget, therefore we need to plan our trip carefully, PLUS we need to assure...

I didn't stay at this hotel but only went there for the birding tours so I am writing this report from that point of view. The guides are excellent and know the birds and where to find them. I saw Aracari and other nice birds right from the deck at the lodge. I took three tours with them. On one...

We spent 4 nights at Crystal Paradise. First of all it was a great location. Everything in the jungle is spaced out, and I felt like we were about in the middle. I had been told the road that it is on, was awful....it had just been scraped before we arrived, and was not bad at all, but even if...

We just got back from spending 4 nights at Crystal Paradise followed by 3 nights at the Singing Sands. The whole vacation was organized by Crystal Paradise and it was perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed all the tours near San Ignacio and our accommodations could not have been better. Comfy beds, lots of birds, more food than we could possibly eat...
