This is a one of a kind hostel. This is the best way to get to the jungle experience in Cayo! It's 20 minutes away from San Ignacio and sits on a 10-acre property on the Macal River. They have camito, soursop, mame, lime, cashew trees on-site in addition to all the veggies and medicinal plants. And that's just the plants. The animals are a whole different story- I got to see my first toucan! Besides that, the staff are super chill and knowledgeable. The dorms are clean, the living space is really nice, and the campsites are second to none. Can't wait until the next time I return.
