We're just back from a lovely two-day stay at the Rosedale Retreat. What a great place. A warm welcome from Adrian and Karen from the off, a stylish room (we stayed in the King Offa family room), a delicious breakfast and so many pleasant touches that made the stay seem just that bit more special. Our hosts made us feel completely at home from the second we arrived and everything was perfect! Beautifully decorated rooms, delicious breakfast and lovely people. We usually stay in larger chains of hotels on our holidays (e.g. Premier inn) however after staying in such a peaceful, homely B&B I doubt we will again. This B&B really did make our short...

Such a lovely B&B. Great location with only a 10 minute walk into Hay on Wye. The house & guest rooms are spotlessly clean & all the fixtures & fittings are of a high standard. Quality teas, coffees, hot chocolate & biscuits are provided in the rooms. The bedding is just AMAZING & the bathroom towels are changed daily. The...

Charming Bed & Breakfast near Hay-on-Wye, which can be reached via a nice ten minute walk through green fields. The room was clean, cosy. Very good breakfast offer (we loved the full English!). The owners, Karen & Aidan, were very helpful and made us feel right at home. We will definitely come back!

Cusop is separated from Hay by a brook. A 15 min stroll across the brook and a couple of fields brings you right into Hay. The perfect place to feel like you are in the countryside while practically being in town. Trip Advisor's decision to remove B&Bs in Cusop from recommendations for Hay-on-Wye is an absurd piece of bureaucratic nonsense. This friendly and comfortable B&B is an ideal and convenient place to stay if you are visiting the Town of Books at any time and particularly during the Hay Festival. It reminds you of the origins of the term 'guest house':...

Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review. We very much appreciate it. We are indeed only 50 yrds from Offa's Dyke Footpath that marks the Boundary between England and Wales. It is a mistake to put us in Hereford some 30 miles away! Thank you for your kindness. Best regards Karen & Adrian
