I am rarely writing enthusiastic reviews, but to find a campsite like this in Bulgaria surprised me enormously!

Upon my very late arrival I called the owner to ask if I could still check in, she just told me a code! and with an electronic lock I could open the gate, enter the site and put my tent up. As it was pitch dark at the time I was surprised in the morning by the marvellous Panorama of what I later learnded to be the Russenski Lom Nature Reserve. Also I found the sanitary facilities to be of very good standard, Wifi was fast and the parking seemed safe.
During the day the reception is staffed, and if you want some good advice for touristic discovery programs the Manager, Katerina, is a wealth of information. apparently she runs a travle agency as well, and suggested me programs around the site for several days! Plan more than two or three. After visiting Veliko Tarnovo, Nikopolis ad Istrum and nearby Ruse we always relaxed in the clean, if so a little small, pool! Just to have one is great!
Prices were moderate compared to similar campsites, but so far it was the cleanest one I found in Bulgaria, and more than priceworthy. I understand, that it is not there for a long time yet, and I wish you all the success you need.
Al speciial tip from my side: There is a small, covered open air dining area in the higer part of the ground! Amazing views for dinner!

If you like nature, hacking and being in the middle of Rusenski National Park.
There are cooking facilities on the site or you can join restaurants in the nearby small cozy town Koshow.
So many things to see and do, go and see for yourself.

Wonderful place with also incredible view. We stay for one night, due to our trip to Romania. We enjoy all the facilities such as hot water, clean shower and bathroom and Wi-Fi. The stuff Wes great, gentle and easy communicative with English. I fully suggest that!

Great place, I spent a night after crossing Romanian border on the way to Turkey, and later on my return. A big advantage is the location with a fine view. The owners are very friendly and helpful. This camping might be a good choice both for a transit night, but also for a longer stay in this intersting area. Facilities are clean and modern.

We booked this site for one night as a stop over but stayed an extra night as it was so lovely , the location is so peaceful and the views into the gorge and the villages below are wonderful , the site is nicely laid out with good size pitches , you can see there has been a lot of thought into the lay out , the host Katerina is lovely and welcoming, she has lots of local knowledge and is friendly and helpful , she keeps a small stock of essentials in the kiosk ( including a cold beer 😁) and does nice snacks , the site has a small pool and communal kitchen area with fridge , hot plate , washing machine and pot wash and the showers and toilets are nice and clean , we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back but for a boy longer next time 🙂

This is a great camp site in an area, where camping was severely lacking.

The most amazing thing here is the view - perched high above the village of Koshov (known as one of the places in Bulgaria with the cleanest air) the site commands amazing vistas to the nearby gorge of Cherni Lom river.

The second amazing thing are the owners - Katerina (who speaks excellent English and German) and her father, from Ruse, very friendly, very friendly and full of useful information about the sightseeing places in the area. They also have a travel agency, so they sure know every interesting sight in the region.

The site itself is brand new (opened in May '21) and divided into two parts, each having its own toilets, showers and basic kitchenette. Hot water was available throughout the day and night. There are power sources at several strategically placed locations, however bringing a power cord extender can be useful. There is also a small swimming pool.

If you visit off-hours or off-season, the door has a magnetic lock that can be opened via special code they give you.

Keep in mind that Koshov is really small so any restaurants and shops may not be working all the time, so bring your own supplies.

Overall this was a great visit and I'm sure I'll come back here again!
