We stayed for two nights and had dinner both nights and I have to say it was fantastic, the room was very clean and tidy and had a very nice feeling to it, the breakfast is to die for and sets you up for the day, the staff are amazing and very friendly and can not do enough for you,...

Found purely by chance. We thought a Sunday lunch would be busy and we needed to entertain an extremely frail 93 year old aunt. On entering we realised it was quite old-fashioned and frankly expected the worst. How wrong could you be. The food was excellent and extremely good value, such a shame it is tucked away in the middle...

I visited The Fox Country Inn on Saturday with a large group of walkers and they could not have been more welcoming. They were friendly and accommodating to our large, muddy, group when we turned up for a drink and lunch. We are often met with unfriendly landlords in The Chilterns that this was a really welcome change and I...

Had a lovely stay here, we had a buy-a-gift voucher and enjoyed an evening meal, breakfast & overnight stay. The room impressed us and was in a really nice decor, the staff were also lovely and put themselves out to make us feel welcome and looked after. Nice food too :) Would definitely come back!

Had afternoon tea here and we were the only ones there! The tea and cakes/sandwiches were all very nice. The main problem is the staff either weren't having a great day or it was a language barrier but it felt like an argument had taken place and nobody was speaking to each other! On our way out we said goodbye...

Stayed here for a two night stay at the weekend from a voucher we claimed. Friendly staff and comfortable room, clean and with basic facilities. The room was cold on arriving due to no double glazing but the heating was on from then on keeping the room warm. Had a three course meal in the evening, this was a nice...

We had a not particularly good time at the Fox Country Inn. Our family is split between London and Gloucestershire and, as a pub that lets dogs in too, it seemed a perfect location. I've been before but not since at least 2009 and it has changed significantly and sadly, not for the better. Firstly I booked through a table...

We stayed on a week night en route to Warwick Very easy to find and extremely close to the m40. Clean, but average room. Although all the staff seem to be foreign we were given a pleasent welcome. The room was very cold, but as soon as we asked the staff it was fixed for us. Dinner was 'OK' only...
