We (our family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids, age 4 and 6) loved our stay at Queensberry Inn! Jennie and Ged we very hospitable, taking the time to show our kids their animals and plants. The fact that they had kids similar age to ours meant there was lots to keep ours busy! The room was very quaint... More

Four of us arrived at Ged and Jenny's to celebrate all 4 of our birthdays. From the time we arrived to the time we left Jenny and Ged looked after us wonderfully. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a fantastic evening meal and desert and breakfast sitting outside the Inn in the sun was awesome. The accommodation is clean... More

We stayed in the cottage for two nights in chilly mid-August. Jennie was a delightful host and very welcoming. Although incredibly cold outside, our room was warm and our bed was soft and toasty. Great, home-cooked breakfasts and good recommendations for nearby places for dinner.

Wanted to do a wine tasting with a cheese and meat platter and did we get it? We certainly did. Very friendly hosts very comfortable and even nice and warm by the log burner in the winter. Great value, so much so we bought loads of things from the wide range of relishes wines and jams. By the way our... More

My family and I checked into this wonderful place on 1 Jan 2015. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our two week South Island sojourn. Our three children stayed in one of the well kept and charming rooms while my wife and I had the cabin-in-the-woods unit. We had an amazing two night stay at this... More

We were astounded by the charm of this historic carriage stop. This wasn't made to look charming; it retains its charm from years gone by. Canopied bed, authentic stone and wood work, equestrian antiques, clusters of huge white rose bushes, a hammock dangling from large gorgeous old trees, dinner in a stone cabin by candlelight (because in fact this dining... We were so lucky to come across this unique and quaint B&B. We drove in amongst beautiful white roses right up to our door. Jenny greeted us with warmth and a big smile! Our room was another surprise with stunningly white linen on a soft bed, plush pillows, sofa, hot drink facilities and decor that takes you back to early... More

We've stayed here four or five times with grandchildren and it is a very pleasant place. The staff is always solicitous, the rooms r large. Get the bed and breakfast rate as it is an excellent breakfast. We love the Olive for dinner as well but it is pricey. I wish the English would switch to single faucets and wash... More

This Inn is well worth a stay. About 20 minutes from Wanaka, it is in a beautiful setting. Jennie is a lovely host, making sure that everything was to our liking. We arranged to have dinner there and not only was everything fresh and wonderfully prepared, but it was all served in a charming candle-lit cottage. The breakfast was delicious... More
