Our experience at Nayino has been amazing - attention for details, extremely polite and lovely staff, beautiful swimming pool and cozy rooms. The people behind it must be really passionate about what they do, the entire place breathes beauty and calm.
We booked 2 months ahead of our visit. About one moth before they called saying that they have a corporate party in the hotel, and they would recommend us arriving next day. We declined and, at our suggestion, they put us for that night in a nearby hotel. Then two days in our stay, they organised another corporate party we were not told about, During that day, they told us they we cannot use the restaurent for lunch as it is reserved, and during the night there was a very noisy part up into the wee hours that we could not sleep. No warnings, no attempts to move us again nothing. When I confronted the hotel manager he raise his shoulders and said "there is nothing I can do". Then, he warned us that next day there is going to be another party (third one). I asked to leave, cutting short my holidays, and he agreed to partial reimbursement only if I cancelled my booking so I coudl not leave bad feedback. Best to avoid.…
Great resort in the North of Mamaia, located about 100 m from the beach. The Resort is very nicely designed in a Mediterranean style, with an interior pool and sun-chairs. The ground-floor rooms in the back have direct access to the pool. Very family friendly - the place is full of small children and there are lot of toys and playgrounds. The rooms are very comfortable and nicely designed. The bathroom is small, but well compartmentalized and with all amenities. Bathrobes and sleepers are available, as well as beach towels. Cleaning is made every day. The breakfast is delicious, one of the best I've had in a hotel. Also, the restaurant serves great dishes for lunch and dinner. But, the best of all is the friendly staff that makes you very much welcomed.
On the plus side: Breakfast Cleanliness Underground parking Less positive: First time when I was offered a downgrade and not an upgrade Check in 16:00 Issues with locking the door Clean hotel but really dirty surroundings Inconsistent chef - same dish might not look/taste similar two times in a row. Water in the pool very very cold Only 1 coffee machine at breakfast, might get crowded.
A great hotel for a trip to Mamaia. Very family friendly too. Nice indoor pool, great and friendly staff and very modern rooms, also furnished withhogh standard. About 100m walking distance from the beach the Nayino is perfectly located. As only recommendation...breakfast buffet after 10am is almost empty...go early!
