Villea Village is located on the South Eastern coast of Crete, where you will find still Authentic Crete.... The small resort is built around an olive grove, each apartment with its own patio or balcony overlooking the gardens or the mountain backdrop. Lie around the large pool shaded by olive treesor walk 50 meters to the beach, crystal clear waters. The fishing village with seaside tavernas and drink establishments serve famed local cuisine. Gorges for hiking, architectural sites, wineries and local mountain villages, along with stunning day trips and adventures await you or you can simply lie by the pool or simply spend time watching the local craftsmen and fishermen ply their trade. Hear Cretan music, learn Cretan dancing, drink Cretan wines and local spirits, have a go at quiz night, enjoy poolside bar b ques or do nothing at all. This small resort is run family style with most staff giving 15 plus years of Cretan hospitality and welcome back guests as once is never enough!!!

Just spent a week at this resort the staff were friendly and helpful but for me the area and resort was just a bit too quiet no entertainment on site or nearby. The restaurants nearby were all good and if you just want to relax at the pool or beech then this would suit. The

Studio apartment is WiFi free in the room? How much is the breakfast buffet?
We are not massive internet user's and I genuinely can't remember if we paid for it in the room. Breakfast was around 11€ per day, but there was a discount if you bought it up front. My advice would be to email the resort they are incredibly helpful.

Hi I have booked for july 2019 and will need transport from the airport - any recommendations for transfers? Thanks
Hi apologies only just seen the message. we use Heraklion taxi's they are excellent and at 125 euro the cheapest we have found for many years. you can hire a car in the village if you want at reasonable prices too and then drop off at the airport on your return.

The beach is a two minute walk from villea village and stretches around the bay and harbour, the cost of a taxi is approximately €160,one way, I wasn't prepared to pay that so for €195 I hired a car from anna car rentals at the airport for the week.easy pick up and drop off.i also hired for €35 a sat available, because I did not have my own.hope it helps?

I suggest getting a connecting door studio unit for 4 adults. Two kitchenettes and two bathrooms. Twins in each studio... the one bedroom units have a double and two couch/single beds but only one kitchenette and one bathroom.
