We have just come back from a 3 night Northern Lights Adventure booked through Transun. The package included flights, transport, hotel, meals, activities, thermal suit & boots. Out of the choice of the 2 hotels we chose the Davvi Hotel which is on the Finnish side of Karesuvento. We stayed in 1 of the lodge cabins, which has a great...

Make yourself cosy, this is our review. This was truly a wonderful 7 night trip. Full of once in a lifetime experiences:-Snow shoes, cross country skiing, reindeer safari, mushing huskies (twice), tobogganing with some really fun people we met as well as seeing the northern lights on 5/7 nights. We can honestly say we have never laughed some much during...

We went to the Davvi on a 3 night Northern Lights Adventure for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and had a great time. The flights and coach transfers ran smoothly. The Davvi cabin was warm and comfortable with a great little sauna. The style of the restaurant and lounge area had a certain Skandinavian charm and the food was wholesome. The...

We booked a 4 nights visit to see the Northern Lights through Baldwins Travel Agency in Tunbridge Wells who couldn't have been more helpful. They found us a Transun trip which, unlike a lot of other operators, is virtually all-inclusive. Food (included) was plentiful and there was a reasonable variety. Three cooked meals a day were available. 2 hr. snowmobile...

We visited this hotel as part of a package with Transun Northern Lights holiday. The initial impression on arrival is that this is a fairly shabby and a little bit of a run down hotel however after a few hours of acclimatisation it is apparent that the hotel is rustic and caters for short holiday packages. We stayed in one...

The Davvi lodge is certainly not what I expected. The first impressions were disappointing and it went down hill from there. You can't talk about the Davvi without bringing up Transun. They are the tour operators that work out of the Davvi. They are, without putting too fine a point on it, crooks. The hotel itself is ok provided that...

We had four nights here as part of Transun northern lights trip. Don't except a conventional hotel as its providing an active outdoor holiday. We stayed in a cabin - comfortable with plenty of room and a private sauna - and used hotel mostly for meeting and eating. The food was very good in a homely way wth decent choice...

We stayed in the Davvi Arctic Hotel (the Lodges surround the hotel) and we totally loved it. So nice to stay somewhere with some character even though sometimes we just had to laugh. There were SO many staff when we stayed as the Hotel was less than 1/3rd full and Human Resources must have been on holiday. Multi national, every...

We booked here for my husbands 50th birthday as seeing the northern lights was one to tick off the bucket list. After having read many negative reviews with regards to transun, airline and accommodation I can only disagree on all accounts. Smooth flight, excellent transun reps and accommodation more than adequate. Activities are well organised and fun. Staff very knowledgable,...
