We originally had 2 nights booked here, but we left after the first night. I can be simple about this place, it's a homestay which could be nice and cozy. The problem with this place is that we had bad luck with our room, especially the bed/matress, or the lack of it. It was a sort of foam rubber thing... More

We stayed 2 nights here and it was great! We had a wonderful garden shed with bath"room" outside - sri lanka luxus lifestyle. We went with the nice family to the market - they explained us all the fancy fruits and vegtables that are not known in europe. Afterwards we cooked traditional lunch with them which was very interesting and... More

This was the first stop on our trip to Sri Lanka and there couldn't be a better place to start with . Both B and his wife Suzzie are incredibly accommodating , knowledgable and helpful . It was set in a perfect quiet location 10 min tuk tuk to Kandy town which suited us perfectly . The house is set... More

What a fantastic experience is staying at the Kandyan manor.. The house (colonial) is amazingly decorated with modern / local accents and it really breaths cosyness (lots of family pictures hanging on the wall).. Great garden and a charming terrace again with all the right stuff at the right place.. Cooking with Suzy (lady of the house) is a fine... More

We had an amazing stay at the Kandyan Manor, they prepared a homemade Christmasdinner for us (we were there with 8 friends). Very nice, warm and enthusiastic family, it feels very at home. It was a little bit out of Kandy but we had our own bus so that wasn't a problem. I think it is a little too far... More

This hotel is a little bit isolated from the rest of the city but it is really charming. The owner is very nice and will help you to find the best places in Kandy. The rooms are perfect with amazing open bathrooms. The dinners there are also very good and the bottles of wine are not so expensive. In a... More

Bhathiya and Sally's rustic country chalet has a very homely feel to it. The couple and their dogs are always around to give travel tips and for a friendly chat. It's only a 15 min tuktuk to kandy city (they're very helpful with arranging a driver), but keep in mind that there isn't anything else in the vicinity. If you're... More

We stayed 3 nights in this charming and peaceful memorabilia-cluttered home on the fringes of Kandy, and were very satisfied with the accommodations and the food. It is surrounded by other houses, so not quite as "jungley" as we might have liked, but there were pleasant walks on nearby country lanes. They were doing extensive renovations of the cabins while... Yes. It is 15 mins tuk tuk from central but that's a good thing! The host is a hugely interesting character with an amazing cook wife. They really made us genuinely feel at home. Wondering around their home you discover lots of antiques all with their own story. Great food cooked by Suzie. Just stay here. Trust!

We stayed for 1 night unfortunately because we loved it. The property is very nice and peaceful. A great escape from the chaotic trafic of Kandy. We met the hosts and their beautiful dogs. They were so friendly and helpful, lovely people! We slept in the chalet. It was cozy and clean. Great experience
