Welcome to Kea Village! The picturesque island of Kea is one of Greece’s best-kept secrets. Situated in the Cyclades, it feels like worlds away from Athens, yet is just a ½ hour trip by car to Athens airport and 1h by the ferry from Lavrio port to Kea. The beaches on the island are some of the best in the Cyclades, offering beautiful sand and crystal clear waters. Kea Village is built in the traditional style of the Island, especially of Ioulida, and offers two outdoor swimming pools and spacious terraced areas with pergolas offering fantastic views of the Aegean Sea. There are four types of Suites and one Villa available that sleeps two (2), four (4), six (6) or ten (10) people in order to serve our guests needs in the most relaxing manner. We would like to inform you that Kea Village is an integral part of the traditional settlement at the top of the historic Ioulida and is served by the provincial road network and the steps, which are an extension of the paths of the settlement. In order to make your stay more comfortable, we would ask you to inform us if you are accompanying people who would need special care when traveling in the Kea Village complex.

We have been going to Kea for several summers, but this summer as a last resort we ended up going to lefkothea, the house that belongs to Kea Villages hotel and has ended up being our best summer in Kea. Apart from being a beautiful and typical house of the island, the treatment from all the staff from waitresses, to gardeners, to cleaning ladies, to Xristina and the owners couldn’t have been better or nicer ! They made us feel welcomed and all of our requirements were met within minutes of asking! We are a big family, dogs included and we were ALL taken care off in a excellent and caring way. The house even though old, was beautifully and very practically refurbished making it even a bit difficult to leave to the beach because you would want to stay in, in order to enjoy it. It has a small but beautiful swimming pool all made with incredible taste and lots of detail. Lights through the garden, music as well, sheets and clean towels changed every two days, and the best view of the town, island and the sea. The afternoon and the sunset are unique and unforgettable! There are many stairs in order to reach the main building, were an delicious breakfast was served but it is a house on top of a mountain and it adds charm to it! I would recommend it 100%, we have spent a whole month and not a single day that I have not enjoyed.

We stayed almost two weeks in a junior suite with a balcony overlooking the Chora Ioulida and the Aegean sea. Our room was not so spacious and the bathroom was very small. We had breakfast in the terrace of the restaurant "to spiti sti hora" inside the resort. The resort is in a good position to visit the island that is very beautiful and praceful. We know that this year is a particular year due to Covid pandemy, infact we noticed not so many tourists...in any case we had a very relaxing stay.

Thoroughly recommend this restaurant been here two years running, lovely food and the staff are very accommodating, friendly and care about your experience. Cocktails are also exceptional, we all love Pericles (the bar man). Thank you Kea Village.

The location of the hotel offers a wonderful view. The room is quite comfortable with kitchen equipment for those who need it. Daily change of towels.
However, the hotel is cut off from Ioulida, with difficult access. Maybe I should have looked it up better myself. Absence of reception. Before the arrival I sent two emails and received no reply! The hotel manager, when I mentioned it to her, told me that she doesn't have access! Regarding the shower area, there was not a sufficient slope for the water to run off. Every day we had to invent ...juggling ways to avoid the ....flood! The breakfast was extremely poor. Few choices, not even a juice...a croissant...something. One cake - the same for three days! They probably thought that for low-season(?!) customers what was offered was enough! The pool was full of bugs floating in the water - so impossible for me to try it. To summarize: for a hotel charging over €130 a night the facilities were indulgently lacking.

We saw in Kéa Village suite the perfect and idyllic place to start our summer holidays.
After several checks on different websites (booking, shipping, hotels.com, ...) we say bingo.
Once there pleasant surprises and disappointments.
In the positive the room is very clean, this nice Cycladic style sought. In the fridge a bottle of wine and water for your arrival.
The view is very beautiful because this guest house is at the top of the village (be careful if you do not have a car!). In the immediate vicinity a mini market and a bakery. No parking spaces in the establishment itself but not very far on public areas you can find (or not) depending on the hours.
A pool area pool as advertised.
Then why a Rating of 3? The pool is poorly maintained despite the claims of the managers. Green areas on the edges and we did not strictly see anyone swimming. Besides look at the pictures there are 2 different pools ...
Like the photos of the property: 2 different.
On hotels.com it is clearly indicated "bar" in the services. And despite the beautiful terrace you can dream of having a drink because there simply is none. We're in somewhat misleading advertising.
The same for the “restaurant”: there is none at all, we are still lying. The area is only reserved for breakfast in the morning until 12 noon.
As for the air conditioning of the bedroom it is located ... in the living room not in the bedroom. The latter is not powerful enough to homogeneously cover the housing. A further disappointment.
Finally last element an unpleasant feeling to be interesting only for your wallet. Everything is done quickly, prohibitions almost non-existent. No one the day, breakfast shipped type canteen, ...
In short, great disillusionment! We left before the end of the stay. The owners must have been delighted to rent 2 times the room and earn more money 😁

We stayed in a family villa (3 double beds) which was very clean and well maintained - but the website failed to mention the many stairs leading to the rooms, and the fact that breakfast in the main building was a 300 meter walk in a busy road. We opted out of breakfast during our last days, because it became a burden every morning. Also, the common pool close to the villa didn’t have any loungers or chairs - no possibility to sit - it was only a plunge pool to dip into and leave. When we inquired about this, we were told that we could use the pool in the main building (300 m away via a busy road) if we wished. We later found out that some of the apartments are also privately owned, so this is definitely not a ‘resort’.

Christina gave us the perfect quiet villa. Views, decor, setting are sublime and easy access to the beautiful village below….be ready for some steep steps! Thomais served us an abundant and delicious breakfast. She really stood out! Restaurant food was creative, don’t pass up the Baklava dessert!!!

We were not given the honeymoon villa we had booked. We were on the adjacent property to Kea Villas which is a complete building site. We stayed one night and left.
the swimming pool is the size of a large coffee table. There has been some SERIOUS wide angle lens use.
As Lisa G says the website is a complete misrepresentation.

this is a lovely collection of villas well furnished in a tasteful style at the top of the old capital of Kea. It's an interesting town although there are many abandoned homes now as everyone wants to be by the sea. But you have a great view of the coast and you can drive there in 10 minutes, and there is a pool to cool off in. the good thing in the hills is that there is nearly always a breeze to fan you. The best thing about the town is the museum which is full or rare and beautiful objects dating from the neolithic period to the classical and it is very well maintained. Take sensible shoes for walking here the town is steep!
