We stayed at a nearby cottage and visited this pub on our first night. The homemade beer and cider is excellent and provides a great compliment to the high quality food, which is served in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Me and my husband stopped whilst passing for lunch. The food was lovely. The beef and onion ciabatta was delicious. The portions were very good. The staff were very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. The pub was clean and I would eat there again

We stayed for one night after taking the brewery tour. The inn has some great ales on offer, which are brewed next door. The food is good and we enjoyed a very pleasant evening there, eating and sampling the ales and ciders. The breakfast was very good and the only complaint would be that the 10am check out is a... Family gathering - thought we return after a few years absence to the New Inn - lovely drive out and a warm welcome on a busy Saturday night service - as in the past always amazed how a pub seemingly in the middle of no where is always buzzing with a great atmosphere and mix of locals and visitors. Busy... More

Staying fairly close by at a lovely B&B on the Southern periphery of the North York Moors park, we looked for a convenient eatery, and were delighted to find The New Inn, both convenient at the end of our forays out and about North Yorkshire, and totally delightful as its own destination. Parking is easy, around back, and the entire... More

Booked pub for two nights as a surprise for my partner. Couldn't have been better. Lovely food, clean, comfortable room and wonderful staff. Fantastic views. We did the brewery tour. It was very interesting and the lady who took it was very helpful. We had such a laugh both evenings with the staff at the bar and local people. I... More

We rented a holiday cottage next to the pub and brewery mainly because it was dog friendly. The cottage was lovely and nicely done out. Just ate in the pub one evening. Good roast with proper Yorkshire pudding. Nice cider from their own brewery. Dogs are allowed in the bar but we ate in the quieter restaurant which was a... More

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at The New Inn as we were going to a gig at Dalby Forest. The staff were really nice on arrival and we felt really welcome. After calling in for lunch at 1.50 we were told by the waitress that she would tell the chef to hang fire, as we were ordering drinks she came back and said if we wanted food that she needed to rush us as they stop doing food at 2(we should have said not to bother as how rude) so we... More
