Have just returned from 11 days at this hotel! Overall it was a nice experience, however feel that there were some area that need improvement to bring it up to its 5 star rating. There is an issue with the amount of cushions on sunbeds around the pools, not nearly enough had cushions and guests were having to get up at the crack of dawn to secure a sunbed with a cushion by 8am they had all been reserved. Which we feel at a hotel of this rating, all sunbeds should have cushions. Overall it could do with a freshen up, things like the shower in the room was rusty, the tiling needs re grouting and were quite a few broken tiles around the place. But the grounds were kept immaculate with everything being trimmed and pruned daily, very pretty, the smells of the herbs etc were lovely. The entertainment was not varied enough, we personally didn’t like the show lounge as felt it was a bit holiday campish not suitable for a 5 star hotel. The resident musicians played the same music every night and to be honest didn’t appeal for us. The comedy nights, tribute acts etc were none existent! We have had much better entertainment before at sensatori hotels with great acts, outdoor cinemas, full on shows, with guest acts and comedy nights. Very disappointed in the entertainment here. The food was not 5 star, only one restaurant was good - the Asian (Jasmine). The buffet was ok, not that varied, with the hot food only warm. The Mexican was mediocre, salad bar to start and no choice of dessert, just a plate with a few things on brought out. Fig and olive was ok but in the same place you eat breakfast and lunch- starter was buffet style. If you are expecting the village square to be a quaint little Cypriot village it’s not, it is all part of the hotel but you have to pay to eat there. Not much atmosphere, we only ate in the Cypriot taverna, we had the meze, which I wouldn’t recommend. The staff are lovely in the restaurants and bars and really want to make your stay special. Would like to mention the lovely sisters who work in the adult buffet area Inesa and Kristina, couldn’t do enough for us. Lucian and Kareliya who work in the main bar, definitely made our stay special. And Georgie who would pop up all over the place and brighten our day! Overall was a nice holiday but feel it could do with a few tweaks!…
Just returned from 1 weeks holiday at Aphrodite Hills by Atlantica - had am amazing time. You cannot fault this hotel, very clean, well run with lots of amazing staff. Especially the staff in the restaurants and bars, like Anglea, Kristina, Aria, Ivesa and Claudia who really looked after our needs. I have been to many Sensatori hotels, and again this one does not disappoint. Would definitely recommend to go and we will of course be returning next year,
Recently returned from our 6th visit, we had an amazing time as always. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotless, the bedrooms are very comfortable and have everything you need including wonderful toiletries. We spent our days by the main pool Valentine kept us well supplied with water and drinks. Angela, Inessa and Kristina who we have known for years looked after us exceptionally well. In the evening we were entertained by various musicians and kept well supplied with drinks by Lucian and his colleagues in the main bar. We highly recommend this hotel in all the years we have been visiting the standards have never dropped and all the staff where ever they work are exceptional. Already booked for next year.
Just returned from our 6th visit and again did not disappoint. All staff are friendly and worked very hard to ensure our holiday was to a high standard. Some staff remembered us from 2019 which made us feel very special. It was my birthday the day we arrived and it made my day as there was a bottle of bubbly on ice with a birthday cake left in our room, such a lovely gesture, thank you! These thoughtful touches are so special! Food was good, lots of choice. We used the adult only restaurant for both breakfast and lunch which was lovely and quiet, staff are very attentive and friendly, keep up the good work, you always brought a smile to our faces. Ate in the Mexican which to be honest is our favourite, it over looks the large swimming pool and food is top notch. We mainly used the adult only swimming pool, as we are 2 adults and we love it as it is quiet, bar staff work extremely hard to keep all guests refreshed with drinks. Our room was comfortable & kept very clean throughout our stay, with fresh towels daily if needed. A big shout out to this hotel, we will definitely return!…
Returned on Thursday from Sensatori Resort Aphrodite Hills, after staying for two weeks from the 9th June. We stayed in a Swim-Up Suite 1101, with views of the golf course and the ocean in the distant, the room is in a very quiet position, the beds are very comfortable and we had the option to choose what pillows we wanted from the pillow menu. On checking in your luggage is sanitized before being delivered to your room. While talking about luggage just a word of warning luggage is very slow to be delivered to the belt at Paphos airport we waited nearly an hour for it to be delivered. We never had any problems booking any of the restaurants using the App, during our stay and our favourite was the Fig & Olive and this is where we ate our breakfast and lunch (adults only at these times), must say a big thank you to Inessa Theodwra Papanidou, and all the other waitress in the Fig & Olive who works so hard. The buffet offers a wide variety of food for even the fussy eaters, the salads were gorgeous and I am missing them now that we are back home. Everything is labelled for allergies, I’m nut intolerant and never had a problem. We didn’t sit around the pool very often, not when we had our own swim-up but when walking around there were plenty of beds available. All staff at the hotel work incredibly hard from the staff on reception, waiting staff in the restaurants, pool waiters, bar staff, cleaning, gardeners, and nothing is too much trouble for them. We found the Senstaori reps, very helpful, approachable when we needed them. Would we go back for a 3rd visit, yes, we would.…
What an amazing holiday! Myself, parter and 6 year old son were here in June for my best friends wedding and we each had an amazing time! The room was cleaned daily and kept immaculate by the maids, and the view from the terrace was outstanding, overlooking the golf course and sea in the distance. The food was lovely having a different theme every evening, and the drinks flowed fantastically throughout the day! We stuck to the kids pool as it was perfect for my son with the water park play area, whilst the hot sun beamed down on us adults and we perched ourselves right next to the bar so what more could we ask for! The kids pool was safe and secure as it was door key only entry. There were also toilets next to the bar which were handy to have close by. Also, a special shout-out to Ken and Panicos for their hospitality whilst we were there! I’m sure they’re glad of the rest now our big group has left! Panicos even created a special cocktail for my partner and named it after him which really added that personal touch (and it was delicious)! Thank you all for a fantastic week! We can’t wait to come back!!!…
So it’s 11.30 pm asked waiter for G&T on all inclusive bar, “can I have some cucumber”? Waiter replied sorry we don’t have any”. 12.15 am (now payable bar) ordered G&T , drink arrived in nice gin glass with cucumber . I said to waiter thought you didn’t have any cucumber “ he said “but now you pay” - that says it all !
We stayed at the hotel for a long weekend and we enjoyed everything. Although the hotel seemed to be full occupied all services were up to our expectations. We had dinner at the jasmine restaurant and the food was amazing as well breakfast and lunch. Reception staff was very helpful and overall all staff were friendly and helpful. We definitely visit the hotel again!
Just returned home from an amazing week at Aphrodite Hills. We stayed previously in 2019 and only have good things to say. The room (with a private pool, would hugely recommend) was perfect, food and drinks 10/10 and staff were consistently lovely and friendly. In particular there was a lady working in the Fig & Olive restaurant during the day who was very friendly and helpful (apologies as unfortunately I didn't get her name but I believe it may have began with an L). Sunset Lounge and Jasmine restaurant were particular stand outs. One of my favourite things about Aphrodite Hills is how much it clearly does for animal welfare, especially the cats who live on the resort. It's actually one of the reasons we came back a second time; unfortunately other hotels we have stayed in are not always as kind which is really upsetting to see. However, it's clear that this hotel cares for the animals which means a lot! We did notice a cat around the El Sabor restaurant limping/looked like it had been injured and made having dinner here distressing. We raised it to a member of staff but just wanted to add to the review so the hotel is aware. The only thing I would suggest for an improvement is a little more communication from TUI reps on the final day in regards to arrangements, transfers etc — but this is no fault of the hotel. Thanks for an amazing holiday!…
Just returned from this hotel as my son got married there on the 16th, there were 14 in the wedding party and we had a great time.We spent a lot of the time at the kids pool as there were two children in our group. The hotel amenities were excellent but a special thanks to Panikos who ran the pool bar where we spent most of our time, he was so cheerful, helpful and his service was second to none and his right hand man Ken.
