Hotel is in a nice location with flower fields within walking distance.
We stayed for 2 nights and we were happy with our decision to stay here. They had plenty of free parking, and app to request most services to keep distance and breakfast boxes since the restaurants are currently closed. It had sliced meats, cheese, really good croissants, yogurt, muesli, fresh fruit, jams, butter and bread slices. You won’t feel hungry.

The room was large and the bathroom was a decent size, had a bathtub as well as a shower, although the shower was a bit small. My husband commented that they had good toilet paper, lol. Men!

They also offer bike rental through Rent a bike Van Dam which was very convenient.

Because of COVID, they do not clean or enter your rooms, which is fine for us. You can request more essentials (towels, tea, soap, etc) through the app and leave the used towels, trays, etc. outside your door for pick up.

The one thing that was HORRIBLE, were the pillows. Flat, lumpy and just awful. We ordered 8 EACH to make our stay fair. I would highly encourage the hotel to provide better pillow types and a pillow menu to choose from for personal choice.

Overall it was a great stay for us and we would probably stay here again, but bring our own pillows.

Dear madam/sir, What a wonderful review to receive and thank you very much for all the compliments! Even though these times are hard, we think that we make the best out of the situation and it is a privilige to read that our guests feel like they are safe and welcome in our hotel. Our hotel team is really looking forward to the future in which the situation around Covid is stabilized and we are able to open all our facilities again. Thank you for the feedback regarding the pillows. We do have some other pillows available indeed but when needed 8 in total to have a good night sleep is a little much indeed, we will look into this matter. Hopefully we are able to welcome you again in the future at NH Conference Centre Leeuwenhorst and let us keep up the good work battling Covid. Kind regards, Ruben Eekma, Duty Manager

Check in was friendly fast and efficient. First room we were given was quite depressing, looking in the court yard and having a small double bed. Elisabeth from reception was very helpful and nice showing us 3 more rooms. One was not renovated and was worse. We took another one, in the end, still same mattress but at least nicer view and renovated room. Rooms are quite small in general and no fridge or minibar is provided. There is a 24hr self service supermarket in the lobby. The room was not very clean, still hair from former guest on the floor and very dusty under heating, when you walk bare foot.. Despite corona we asked for housekeeping service, first day only fresh towels were pit on the bed, second night towels were replaced and cups changed. The doors are banging very loudly and it is quite noisy even the elevator despite from being far away from it. Breakfast buffet is ok, prepared scrambled eggs, pancake, etc. but nothing fresh made to order.Good selection pf tea and good coffee machine with real coffee beans not made from instant powder or concentrate compared to the fruit juices, which are either watery or too concentrated.
Best aspects of the hotel is free parking and friendly staff!

We (2 rooms / 4 people) went during the Tulips Festival Weekend (22 to 24/04/22). The hotel is big, I don´t think it was fully booked and believe that they are not prepared for busy days! We didn´t receive any instructions or advice regarding their services and limitations, example: Pool reservation, dinner limitation and reservation, kitchen opening hours, rent bike limitation and reservation. In my opinion these are all things that the hotel should tell and advise the guests during the check in.
Unfortunately, we figure out everything in the worst way. One day the kitchen was just closed, the other day the dinner was full booked. We also had the issue below regarding renting bike / getting taxi on the Saturday morning. Staff very unfriendly, basically saying that they couldn´t do anything to help.
On the saturday there was the Tulip parade (BE CAREFUL if you go to that area during this time of the year). We bought the tickets to the KEUKENHOF including the bus, ticket with day and time selected and simply there was no bus working on that day. (The park said they can´t do anything as the bus is public transportation and we didn´t have our money back)
The issue with the hotel was, after 30 minutes waiting the bus we called the company, figure out that there was no bus and went back to the hotel, around 9am to rent a bike or get a taxi. The hotel said that there was no bike available to rent, that there were all full booked and we should try some bikes at the parking lot to rent using the APP. We tried and there was no bike available eigther. We asked the hotel to call a taxi, the receptionist tried 1 times and nobody picked the call and she said there was no taxi. I explained to her our situation and kindly asked her to try again, she wasn´t friendly, called one more time and said that there was no taxi. I asked if she knows what I could do and she said that there was nothing that she could do to help. UBER were cancelling as they consider that the hotel is close to the park.
We saw on the rent bike APP that there was another bike station 30 minutes walking from the hotel. We went ther walking and when we arrived there we saw that it was exactly the same bike company, same guy with the same van that was delivering bikes to the hotel and they had a place/garage full of bikes. So, why the hotel wasn´t able to do anything to help us?? The true is that they didn´t even try! :(

Dear guest, Thank you for your time to write a review! It is very sad to read what kind of problems you experienced during your stay. Regarding the public transport, it is true that they have lots of issues during this period when Keukenhof is open. Times of arrival do differ, some busses do cancel all of a sudden. Unfortunately, it is something we can't prevent. However, the assistance at the reception should be better than you have experienced. My apologies for this inconvenience, I will inform my colleagues how to respond to these circumstances so it won't happen again in the future. Hopefully, I may see you again at NH Conference Centre Leeuwenhorst. With kind regards, Dylan Verhoeven - Duty Manager

We picked this hotel because it advertises itself as being dog friendly, with a new wellness centre and the photos make the hotel look modern and in good condition. This was a disappointing stay. The rooms are a bit tired, the location is out of the way without café‘s or restaurants nearby, the hotel restaurant has a very limited menu, very small portions, and is quite expensive (the chicken sate was 20 euro with one sate stick and some fries). I ordered another dish because I was still hungry. At the end of our meal we were told that dogs were not allowed and that we should move outside. Interestingly, the Booking.com entry said there were 4 restaurants, 3 bars and a terrace. In fact there is one (disappointing) restaurant with a very limited bar. We pointed this out at check-in and showed the false entry to the check-in staff who said that they would contact booking.com. The pool looks nice but the wellness area is very small (one steam room, one small infrared sauna and one small sauna). Overall, this is a very average property and not as it looks or as it is described on booking.com. I will attach a screenshot of the booking.com info on this property if I can. Hopefully the description will be updated to advise that there is one (very ordinary) restaurant and not 4 and that there are not 3 bars - in fact no separate bars. And that it is not really so dog friendly. A very disappointing experience.

Stayed 3 nights in this 4 star conference hotel located 10 minutes drive from the Noordwijk beach. Located in a peaceful part of the country side, it’s ideal to go for a morning walk or cycling around the area.
Because of COVID-19 lockdown, the hotel was deserted. Only parts of the hotel was functioning with a small staff. Its a large hotel with 500+ rooms, many meeting rooms and long corridors. Staff was friendly and flexible.
Superior room was small, 18 sq meters with basic furniture. Mini fridge was empty. No tea coffee or free water. A kettle was given on request. No cups, spoons either. Mirror was only inside the bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom had a bath and a separate shower. Water flow was good. No bathrobes in the room. In the pool it cost 7.50 euros to rent a bathrobe.
Free WiFi was working well.
Again because of Covid, breakfast too was restricted with limited food options. The new pool, sauna and the gym was the highlight of the hotel. Because of the lockdown only the hotel restaurant is open. So not much options for lunch and dinner. Room service is available.

We had a 4th floor view of a concrete patio and another wing of the hotel. In other words: no view at all.
Superior room was small, and I have no idea what made it "superior" to a standard room. Perhaps the size of the bed (Queen)?
The description of the room did not mention there was a small fridge, so we didn't bring anything that required cooling for our 2 night stay.
The breakfast was nice, not a lot of variety and nothing different on day two. The bacon may count as "spek" (bacon) for Dutch folks, but is not bacon in the English or American sense of the word.
What was truly bad was the AC in the room. There is an unknown but preset "median temperature" and a fan setting (manual and automatic). You can adjust the temperature 3 degrees up or down from the preset temperature in half degree increments. Minus 3.0 degrees is not cool enough, even though it was only 26 C outside. What made matters worse, is that our room got the afternoon and evening sun. We drew the sunproff blinds, but the AC still did not cool the room hardly at all. The AC system needs to be upgraded, the median temperature needs to be set lower, the system needs to be checked that it acutally cools to 3 degrees below preset. If it had not cooled off at night (so, yes, we opened the window AND ran the AC), we would have complained or left.

The stay was magnificent, and well recommended for all Dogowners out there looking for a Weekend off with their Buddys. The Noordwijk an Zee Beach is a quick trip drive of 10 Minutes away, and offers a lot of Food Variety at their promenade for a long day out. Also Amsterdam being 15 Minutes away as well as the Waterpark, it's the perfect Location to come around and experience the Netherlands in it's full beauty. The Hotel offers an Aqua Fitness Center which is a combination of Gym, Sauna and Pool all in one Area and superb after an exhausting Week. We didn't attent the Breakfast but i've heard good of it from the Locals there, apart from that the Rooms are kept simple and clean and overall just enjoyable.

We booked NH Conference Centre Leeuwenhorst for a three-night family holiday. Breakfast was very good, but what annoyed me was the room cleanliness. During the three days we stayed, the room was not cleaned even once. Only the bedsheets were arranged to give the impression that it was cleaned. The towels were never replaced, and I had to call reception to get new towels, which is not acceptable, especially considering what you are paying for the services. It’s not worth it.

Dear sir or madam Thank you for your review on TripAdvisor. We encourage people to spend time with their pets. Sadly we do keep our dining areas seperated from pets that are brought into the hotel. This is being done due to hygiene regulations and other guests that might be disturbed by the presence of pets near the outlets. We look forward to welcoming you again at NH Leeuwenhorst! Take a taxi to the next train station. No other possibility. On the way back (by train) you could make a stop at Leiden, Nice place as well. Take a taxi from Leiden to the hotel.More expensive, of course, a taxi from the hotel to Amsterdam.
