If you are after a country retreat with a touch of luxury this is the place to book! These cabins offer a homely feel once you open the door and then the little touches of luxury surround you.

Mt Warning Estate (Dum Dum farm) is beautiful and will provide you a perfect getaway you will never forget. Graham and Helen provided everything you could need and more for your stay!! We stayed three nights in Cabin 2 which just was not long enough, on arrival we walked into the cleanest cabin we have ever walked into, On the kitchen bench was a basket of goodies for our complimentary continental breakfast (fresh bread, muffins, croissants doughnuts) which was a shock to us the fridge was stocked as well (fresh juice milk, yogurt, butter). It was very generous and honestly there was NOTHING they missed. The full sized kitchen, stocked pantry, selection of high quality teas and coffee was just perfect.

As a family or just as a couple this cabin had everything you could imagine down to simple touches like board games for the cozy night in as well as some feed for the cows (which is a must do). Cabin 2 has two rooms so if your a family of four or just a couple this cabin has so much space it does not feel like a cabin. But not too big where it looses it charm for that romantic weekend away.

The location of the farm is just brilliant and only 5 minutes (we timed it) to the town of Uki. There you can pop into the roast office (great coffee) try the famous pies and don’t forget the Mt Warning hotel where the food is great and the locals are super friendly.

We spent the days on the farm gazing at the beautiful scenery which was totally breath taking and will not disappoint you (Insta perfect). There is so much wildlife to observe so make sure you take time to unwind sit back and relax!! The outdoor day bed was a great space to sit with a book and let time pass on by.

The Fire pit was a great touch for those cooler nights where you sit and gaze into the fire not to mention it was already prepared for us. The cabin is set back off the road which is great for complete privacy and really allows you to take in what nature has to offer.

So after all this if you are looking for a place to RELAX recharge and emerse yourself in nature or even just spend some romantic time with your partner then please book a stay here!! I promise you will not be disappointed.

Thank you Graham and Helen we can not wait to book our next getaway with you!! Glen and Vanessa

Our stay at Dum Dum Farm was so good I almost don't want to admit it, because then there will be more people we have to share it with!
Graham and Helen were fantastic hosts right from the get go and made sure we had all the information we needed before arriving.
The cabin itself was extraordinarily clean, bright and airy. The kitchen had everything you need to cater for yourselves and the complimentary continental breakfast went far above our expectations. Thank you so much guys!
The highlight of the property for us was the outdoor bath. It was the perfect spot to watch the sunset in the early evening and wind down before dinner and bed. It was so relaxing we didn't make it past 9pm most nights.
There is also a lovely chair swing and table overlooking the mountains that is the perfect spot to watch the sunset if the bath isn't your thing. Just be aware that the cows will see you're eating and insist you give them some of the "cow food" Graham and Helen leave especially for them. Whilst they are fenced into their own lush paddock, you can tell they're quite domesticated and used to visitors. They'd be great entertainment for young kids if you have them.
Other positive things of note were the ability to have both an indoor or outdoor fire, the BBQ, lawn and board games provided, Netflix on the televisions and plenty of information about the history of the farm and suggestions of where to explore around the property. It really was a slice of heaven and we'd love to return someday soon.

We love to get away from the hustle and bustle of life when we go away, Mount Warning Estate is just perfect. It has a million miles away feel, yet Uki and Murwillumbah are only 5-10 minutes away. The cabins are beautifully presented, have modern amenities, and the lovely hosts have thought of absolutely everything. You can literally go there with a bag of clothes and be fine.

There is plenty to do on the farm if you are that way inclined, or like us you can just kick back, feed the cows and enjoy the scenery.

Well deserved 5 star rating

Exceptional - nothing out of place and everything you need and require at your finger tips. bedding and amenities are of the highest standard so you will be very comfortable. Relaxing location where you can choose your own pace and go as fast or as slow as you want. Short drive (4 minutes) to Uki to grab food for the stay or get yourself a good pub lunch, cold beer and easy listening music.
The stay and accommodation is fantastic and we will return.

Thank you Graham and Helen for making our stay so special. The attention to detail in the cabin and around the property gave it a luxury/rustic homely feel. All the modern conveniences to enjoy, with a touch of nature & the cows made our stay bliss! We visited the forage garden 3 times, we snacked on the finger limes and made some Anise Myrtle tea for our family. The kids climb the beautiful tree, feed the cows and nighttime was enjoyed by a relaxing in the spa bath and a fire under the stars.
We are looking forward to staying there again with our kids in the winter season. We also will be booking the farm tour with you next time, as we are intrigued with the history of the farm.
Love Natasha and Daniel

This is one of those times when you wish you could give 6 stars, just for those extra special stays. Between feeling like we were the only two people in the whole world and just how magical the cabin was we were in heaven. The owners even have a secluded picnic spot where you can swim, there are cows and oh my heaven the bathtub! Or should I call it a pool!! Please please do yourself a favour and stay here!! We are already planning on coming back.

For those with mobility issues or physical disabilities they have a bathroom suitable for wheelchairs & there is a bed that is electric.

This place was perfect. They had great attention to detail. Beautiful rustic design cabin. Loved the fire pit, wood fire pizza oven and beautiful view from the outdoor bath. Plenty of activities to do- walks, feeding cows, lawn games, bird watching and they even had a cupboard of activities. We really enjoyed feeding the cows, cooking wood fire pizzas and star gazing at night by the fire. Amazing place, a must stay.

Honestly was blown away by this property. It’s pure magic. From location to ammenities and the incredible hosts! Thank you for what you’ve created. We escaped for my birthday with our 5 year old in tow and we all had the best time. Always something to do and see but most importantly just relax in cabin 2. We plan to return and see our cow friends again.
