Out of the vast space comes this place. An experience that make you feel as if lost in time. What I appreciated was the attentive service and the good pest control. It is not easy to achieve . We had a wonderful time. Many thanks to Kan who was most accommodating Butler and Mr M for helping with our luggages and our loot from surrounding place.

We stayed at Thames Valley for 2 days and took interconnecting rooms. The hotels scenic beauty was definitely beautiful. But the rooms upkeep was absolutely pathetic. The floors are horrible with patches, the bathroom walls and the floor was cemented. Nothing else at all. Looked like a old rented place. The walls of the rooms are so rough that anyone specially with a baby it's dangerous. Another thing is the staircase!! We got rooms upstairs, and there is no safety at all. There should be a small gate at every staircase entrance. In the entire trip, I was worried as it was raining, there was water on the stairs and no safety door like a fence for safety. There should be a safety door at the edge of staircase as it's really dangerous. The room has a small place with a sofa where you will find lizards as it has open windows. Somehow for the rooms it is over priced. The breakfast was not so good. If you tend to keep your hotel open for international guests, keep something else other than pork. The entire buffet was full of pork, pork, pork.. I have noticed you had some guests from UAE and saw a lady struggling and end up having bread like us. 2 days no hash brown. Honestly we paid rooms with breakfast but end up eating only breads and fruits. There was no other entertainment in the hotel, like a Thai traditional dance or some live music, at night it was totally haunted. For places like this where there is nothing else you should have some kind of entertainment activities. The taxis are super expensive. We went to a cafe and the driver took 1400 Bhat for 2 hours. Like what !! I would have travelled from Bangkok to Pattaya at this price. The rooms are over priced as the rooms looks old like extremely old. Now coming to staff, I would give 10 out of 10 rather more to Khun Pair. She was exceptionally helpful and extremely polite. She went out of her way many times to help us to get water bottles, find the glasses from the narrow stream of my father in law. She deserves 10000 stars. Other staffs in housekeeping and reception was very good carrying the Thai hospitality. Please look into the stair door and the flooring of the rooms. We were little taken a back. Sorry for the less stars but for Khun Pair 10 stars. Thank you Khun Pair and team for your hospitality.

Booked a triple sharing room. Pictures show online look exactly as the physical room. Very English cottage feel . Breakfast was good, mixture of western and Chinese food such as porridge , staff are friendly . The place is a bit far off , need to have car access.

As my wife and I visit Khao Yai frequently, we like to check out different places for potential to stay on future visits. We wanted to see the grounds and facilities of Thames Valley, but found it virtually impossible. Security guards are highly protective and visitors must be either guests at the hotel or customers at the restaurant to avail of the parking lot without fee; others are asked to pay hundreds of baht for even 15 minutes parking! We decided to eat at the restaurant, which was OK, but then we found it was not even possible to view the hotel grounds or facilities... only the restaurant building. Not being the snobbish types, we decided any place with this kind of restrictive attitude was not for us. We'll be staying at more inviting places on future visits to Khao Yai.

What a wonderful place ... We had a super time from the arrival with a nice reception, staff offering to take pictures, a nice introduction to the room and super smiles all around. We had booked a Deluxe Pond room and I was very happy with the good size of the room and the comfortable and cozy setting. The one regret I have is that we were not able to spend enough time in the room. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom offered all amenities that one could imagine. The grounds are beautiful and meticulously maintained; a perfect gem. Loads of photo opportunities if you like that thing. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. The dinner was accompanied by a lovely band with an amazing singer and breakfast offered all the spread you could imagine. Perfect all over, we loved it. I would love to come back and spend a bit more time.

I have been going to khoa yai for new year vacation and celebration five years in a role staying with different hotels and I would say my experience at thames valley is one of the worst new year trip I have ever had. The hotel has a nice landscaping and an energetic and fun welcoming staff. The first impression after I entered the room is its quite small and the bathroom is quite smelly. I thought it was normal, but realized that it was not after I encounter the following problem and got a chance to move to another room. So I arrived at the hotel around 2 pm and not so long after that, they start to build a stage basically almost right in front of my room (me and my bf stay on the second floor) My room is located close enough to hear the noise. I was trying to be understandable that the hotel have to work on their new year party until 11 pm, I still heard the noise from construction so I decided to make a phone call and notice them of whats going on. The staff picked up the phone saying that he has noted and would go check and hung up the phone right away before I was able to say anything more. I decided to wait and still overheard the noise for almost an hour until midnight! Before then, I made a phone call again few times and believe it or not, no one pick up my phone. On 31 dec, I got up and thought that they might done with the stage, but unluckily , they were not. The building was carried on the whole afternoon even after they finished it, someone came doing the sound check and the singer came practice singing until 4 pm. Me and my bf was trying to go take a nap, but it was so loud until I decided to finally go complain at the front desk. The hotel said they are sorry and in order to apologize for this, they will upgrade my room to more quiet area. But it was not a really upgrade as they claim the room is still the same size except an one additional bathtub. I did not want to ruin my new year experience so I think this might be good enough that I can finally stay peacefully. But the problem comes again, after new year dinner, when my bf showered there was no hot water. The machine was broken so I called the staff. This time I would like to give a compliment to the technician. He responded and come to fix it very quickly. Other than that, the service experiences with phone calls was pretty bad. I called the reception only for the ice and I had to call three times and waited for two hours! Second time, I asked for the ice and the glass shot at the front desk, I waited another hour and have to make a phone call to remind them. They came after a while with normal glasses which I already had in my room. I do not dare try asking for their ice again the third time. Going to seven eleven and buying the ice myself might be so much faster. I paid 20000 baht for three nights including new year dinner and this is what I got. I did not expect to receive a service like some five-star hotel, but at least for what I paid, it shouldnt be this bad.

Wonderful hotel in Khao Yai that has been beautifully designed and constructed to replicate the cotswolds, England. Not only does it look like something out of England but it feels like it too. Rooms are fantastic with a real power shower. Very peaceful too. Gym is small but has what you need to exercise. There is also a swimming pool. Breakfast offers a good range of Thai and western dishes Location is really good being in a key part of Khao Yai. Would absolutely recommend for singles and couples. Families too.. especially if you want to feel a bit of the UK without travelling :-)

Stayed 3 days two nights. Beautiful facility, well laid out, clean and with a pleasant and efficient staff. Food excellent and a very good breakfast layout. We had a pool villa and out assigned butler was a very pleasant and efficient young lady called Pair. Will try to return to the facility in Dec and will definitely ask for her and her team's services again. Perhaps a bit on the pricey side, but well worth the money. Highly recommended.
