We spent 3 nights at Eliassen Rorbuer in one of the luxury cabins (N°3). It was very pleasant, very clean and it has a beautiful view. We are a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 children, all of us enjoyed our stay here. I would recommend.

During our Roadtrip in the Lofoten this was one of my favorite places to stay. In fact I was purposed here during a perfect morning. The scenery is stunning, looking out the windows or the terrace to the cod boats (I am portuguese and we are the top consumers in the world for cod, só this had extra importance for... More

Stayed here for 8 days in one of the 1 bed deluxe rorbuers (no.21). Weather was fantastic. Views from the Rorbuers and resort were incredible. Easy parking. WiFi was good. Kitchen and cooking facilities were fine. Nearby supermarket down the road en route to Reine was okay bur parking can be a nightmare. The supermarket at Rambert is better for... More

We stayed here recently for a few nights during the high summer season. Eliassen Rorbuer consists of a collection of rorbuer (or fishermens' huts/chalets) scattered on land surrounded by fjord and mountains in the fishing town of Hamnoy. Some of the rorbus are interconnected to one another and some are individually standing. The rorbuer had undergone renovation in recent years.... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and were happy with our choice. We stayed in a large rorbuer (Waterfront Deluxe Cottage). The interior is modern and in a very good condition. It was mostly clean - only the kitchen could have been cleaned a bit better. However, if you are looking for a rorbuer this is a good choice. You... More

Stayed here for 4 nights in a superior, 1 bedroom cabin, as part of a fly-drive tour of Lofoten. The open plan living area was comfortable, very spacious and nicely refurbished with a well equipped kitchen area, should you wish to cater for yourself. Our idea of self-catering is a simple diy breakfast in the cabin and to eat out... More

My husband and I doesn’t drive so we have very limited choices in finding accessible accommodation in Lofoten (key challenge: ferry / flight doesn't always correspond with land transfer timing). After reading good reviews from TA, we settle with Eliassen which situated at a more exclusive location. Our Cabin #19 has windows facing the sea. It offers a close up... More

These rorbuer were always good, but the recent reconvations have taken them to a new level. Clean, comfortable and stocked with everything you need for a self catered holiday. There are lots of small things that set it apart and make it better than other rorbuer- the sheets are already on the bed and included in the price, excellent fast... More

We stayed there for a week. The location was great in three aspects. First it was easy to access hiking routes in both directions. Secondly, it was perfectly located to get groceries and fresh seafood. Thirdly, the scenery there is great. The cabin was perfect for us and we highly recommend it. There is a washing machine and a tumbler... More

We stayed here for a few nights on our honeymoon and it was perfect. The property is easy to get to and easy to find. The accommodations are good (Clean, Comfortable, Inviting). We stayed in one of their larger cottages which was too big for just the two of us but it would have been perfect for a family. It... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
There is a place on Earth where the Sun never sets, the Northern lights never cease to amaze, and the landscape changes constantly, the wind never stops blowing and the people always smile. These are the Lofoten. Eliassen Rorbuer is a holiday resort with fishermen’s cabins, enjoying the longest tradition in the tourist industry in Lofoten. We offer accommodation in a traditional fishermen’s cabin camp, in the most beautiful western part of the Lofoten Islands. It is situated on the tiny island of Hamnøy in Western Lofoten, the Moskenes municipality. The island is the last one in the archipelago to have the road link. Currently the Lofoten Islands are mainly associated with fishing, which takes place from January to April, alongside the entire archipelago. All of our cabins are new renovated and got a new floor, kitchen, bathroom and furnishings. Welcome to refreshed Eliassen Rorbuer! ... more   less
