Charming, elegant boutique hotel in a converted 19th-century mansion house. Impeccable service from young staff. Room was very comfortable, bed was a large, plush double. Thick traditional curtains with tie backs contribute to the stately home feel of the room. Decent flat screen TV, however, with the usual welcome screen listing the hotel features. Bathroom very up to date, with very effective shower. Not much of a view from the window, but that was not really a problem, unless you don't have a car. At 45 minutes' walk from the Old Town Rynek (Market Square), you'd be stuck with nothing to do and not much to look at if the weather was inclement. Unless you go to eat in the excellent dining room (it seems rude to refer to it as a restaurant). Service is very deferential; if you stay here you are a VIP by default. The menu is based on traditional Polish cuisine, served with a fine dining modern twist. Alternatively, if stuck in the hotel in inclement weather and you are not hungry, you could go to the spa. I didn't try it, so I can't comment. Thought it was only fair to mention it, though.…
The Pałac Polanka was selected for us while on a private tour of the area. We were so impressed with the grace and charm of this small inn. It has only 11 rooms, but ours was quite roomy and felt luxurious. While the building is historic, the hotel is quite new and makes wonderful use of this beautifully restored manor. The breakfast buffet is ample and beautifully presented with much variety. There is a very good restaurant on site, too. I highly recommend it for its varied menu. Service in both the hotel and restaurant was excellent. Note: Feels luxurious but pricing is mid-range.
This is a lovely small hotel with lots of old world charm. Our room was large ,the only downside was instead of a double bed we had two singles on opposite sides of the room, which is a bit strange. The bathroom was modern, no complaints with it. WiFi seemed to work well everywhere, including in the room and in the restaurants. Parking was included and easy to find a place close to the hotel entrance. Breakfast was also included and was a very good buffet with lots of variety and excellent coffee. We would definitely recommend this hotel if you are in this area. It is just on the edge of Krosno and is a short drive away from the main road, so the grounds of the hotel are very tranquil.
Stayed here for 1 night when in business in Krosno. Really comfortable hotel, had room 14, which has a small side room in a turret. Lovely jet bath to relax in. Food was excellent, have the carpaccio with teriyaki, well worth it. For breakfast, they don’t advertise fresh eggs, however, they will make to order, with cream! Also ask for real barista coffee, not coffee from the breakfast machine!
We spent a couple of days here,it was superb, the place is beautiful, the food is wonderful, the service was top notch we also took advantage of their swimming pool and hydrotherapy pools after which we had a full body massage, can’t wait to go again ,
