We stayed at Villa Sibbe on our bike trip to Sipoo. It is conveniently located near the road between Helsinki and Porvoo. The villa is part of Joensuu estate, having many services, e.g. camping area, port, cafe, frisbee golf field etc. We took an en suite room facing the garden. The room was in good condition, clean and quiet, we got really good sleep. Bathroom was clean and funtional, wifi worked well. There is shared kitchen with fridge. This time there was no breakfast available, which made the price to feel a bit expensive. Villa acts as a good hub for visiting locations around. Although Villa is an old wooden house on the countryside, I would not call it romantic. The harbour is kind of industrial area and there was lots of frisbee golfers buzzling around all the time. Swimming area is an artificial pond. This is contactless accommodation, i.e. You’ll access the room without human contact (if payment has been done). However, we met the hostess who was really friendly and helpful. Sibbe is a good overnight stop-by along the route. …
