A very pleasant evening spent with friends, food was very good plenty of flavour. The tables are a little cramped and service for the main course was slow, but it didn't detract from a pleasant evening. Reasonable priced in clean friendly surroundings.

Now here's an idea! The punters like eating outside in the sun so lets make a dinning area out the back where we NEVER get the sun! Oh, and don't let them sit in the sun unless they only have drinks. What are you thinking!!!!!!! Food was average at best anyway so frankly no loss.

I love this restaurant! Always loads going on, great atmosphere and lots of chatting! The food is excellent value and the staff are very friendly and helpful and the place is definitely child friendly with noise not being an issue! There's an early bird special before 7 and a kids menu too!

I used to visit here every Monday for a cheap catch up with a friend, unfortunately the service became really bad. However, after not coming for around a year, I tried it last night. Fantastic! The place was busy, the atmosphere really good and staff all friendly. Food was great and back to its old self. I'm not sure how... More

we booked a table for 8 adults and 2 children, one with high chair, for saturday evening. we arrived to find that the table had only been reserved for 8 total, and as it was busy, we would have to wait until another table finished. this took around 30-40 minutes. when finally seated, we waited another 15 minutes for a... When we first walked in the room we were very disappointed, the walls and doors all had holes in them. The bathroom was very shabby tiles missing, rusty shower rail. The very thin quilt had no fastenings at the bottom. We had no hot water for two mornings, was told to run the taps .... But no joy they did... More

Called in after hearing some great reviews and so glad we did. From the ambiance of the cozy lit restaurant, the lovely passionate service that ticked all the boxes to what could only be described as one of the best meals we've had for a long time - a gem that we will go back to soon.

Breakfast was included and fine. Full English and very enjoyable. Staff all friendly, helpful and good. The restaurant side is recommendable for a casual meal. The music was too loud, but that is a matter of personal choice. The decor is also a personal preference. The hotel accommodation is a sadly and badly neglected poor relation. The room door locked... Staff very friendly, lovely atmosphere. Had steak which was cooked perfectly and service from staff was excellent. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We have been before a couple of times and the food is always lovely.
