Hotel's Favorite
Small resort with very nice rooms, good beds, very clean. We had all inclusive and the food was really good, part of the group is vegan and there was plenty of choice to provide for them as well. The pools (big one and one for kids) were very nice ( water in the big one was chilly), the bars, the beach, the entertainment, it was perfect. And last but certainly not least,the staff was super nice and friendly.

This was an amazing hotel from start to finish. All the staff were so friendly, the room was perfect and absolutely spotless. The food was delicious, either the main restaurant or at the beach for grill night. An amazing relaxing holiday, we loved it ❤️

We had a wonderful honeymoon at Eliros Mare. We came to the hotel at midnight. We had travelled about 16 hours during that day and we were very tired. The receptionist was very welcoming and served us very well. He even gave us food in the restaurant. Over all the service was exceptional for the whole week. Hotel was very clean and the athmosphere was modern and poetical. Our room was well-sized and very beautiful. The food was also brilliant. We liked the pool at the hotel and it was aldo nice that the beach is so close to the hotel. There are also bus stops near the hotel so it's easy to go see other towns/cities (for example Chania or Rethymno) while staying at the hotel. You can also buy nice local souveniers near the hotel.

Great hotel! Fantastic food, and so very friendly staff. Nice and clean rooms, great pool-area, and beach. Love the fact that the beach is so close by, and with many sunbeds. Close so shops and minimarket. Would love to come here again.

The Hotel rooms are big and very comfortable. The sandy beach is perfect. The dinner buffet has great variety while staying true to Cretan food and was always delicious. Great to relax and enjoy the good weather, perfectly located to get to know the island.

We never normally return to the same place even if the stay was a good one, but our stay at The Eliros Mare Poem Hotel was so good that we have booked again for next year. The Eliros Mare offered everything we needed for a relaxing, easy holiday - Excellent food Good location Lots of activities and entertainment …….. or lots of book reading. Very friendly and helpful staff. Special mentions go to Hazel the Maitre d’ and Maria & Hara who offered excellent Breakfast & Dinner Service. Dimitris & Olga who coordinated the Sport, Fitness & Entertainment Activities. The staff were as good as we have ever experienced. From our warm welcome to our ‘made very easy’ departure. They are a major reason why we are returning next year Other positives - The bus stops are right outside the hotel for easy, low-cost travel in quality coaches to Rethymno, Chania and Heraklion. There is a very good Supermarket across the road from the Hotel, along with a range of bars / eateries and ok-ish gift shops. The 3K walk along the beach to Georgioupolis. The small town is worth a wander around, a drink in the square and then a taxi back to the Hotel. Slight downside - The road you cross to the Supermarket, bars etc is a busy one as it is the main road on the island. We only stayed for 10 days.…

We just had a incredible week of relaxation at the Eliros Mare and I couldnt not write a review. Outstanding care given from the moment you wheel into reception, with fresh towels and lemonade to the moment you have to sadly depart. The location is great, next to the busstop which takes you to Chania and beyond. The swimming pool is warm, clean and always empty. The food is delicious - great morning omlettes and delicious cakes. We woke up everyday ay 6am for a walk on the beach, Im not a morning person but genuinely couldnt resist watching the sun come up. The cocktails are gorgeous - with pina coladas morning noon and night. If you need a week of downing everything and just enjoying yourself - please book a trip to this fantastic sanctury.
