I travel a lot and never write reviews. I decided to share my experience this time round because our stay at the lodge was so disappointing that I hope other tourists don't waste their time and money as we did on this tourist trap. It is not so much about the lodge which is indeed basic (borderline run down) but... More

It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Is a very rustic lodge 60 km away from Iquitos city. IS located in Yanayacu river where you can easily see a lot (really a lot) of amazon fauna, specially gorgeous birds like Hoatzins and many raptors. The staff is very friendly and they treat you like royalty.... More

We spent a night here the other day and the experience felt very natural. We were the only two at the lodge at the time and we had a English speaking guide called Timo who came and met us in Iquitos town. We were transferred to the dock by motor taxi first. Then the trip took about 1hr 30 min... More

This place it wonderful! I would consider it my home away from home. The staff are so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable! There is always something fun to do there like fishing, jungle hikes, canoeing, relaxing in a hammock, or enjoying their incredible food! I have stayed there every time I have traveled to Peru, and will continue to stay there... More

I have been traveling to Iquitos for 6 years and discovered this gem of a lodge several years ago and always return as other lodges cannot compare for the friendliness of the staff (you are treated like family), the food (better than any restaurant I have eaten at in Iquitos), and actually being "a part of the jungle" . Animals... More
