As budget hotels go, this is about as basic as they get - bed(s), a tiny desk and TV, and a pod with the bathroom in it. Road noise is significant (as might be expected given the location) but the paper-thin walls and motel-style open access to the exterior meant that I could hear all of the comings and goings...

We stopped overnight on a family ski trip. The usual you would expect from premiere classe. The bed configuration was slightly different with twin beds and a bunk which was not as convenient as the double with a twin over. We had a meal at the Campanile next door which was perfectly fine.

One of the older buildings in this chain, I suspect, very dark and dingy room with awful lighting; a single vertical fluorescent tube in the corner, the broken shade so old it was dark brown, and probably a safety hazard. Linoleum floor, so could be kept fairly clean (better than the filthy carpet encountered in the Reims Premiere Classe we...

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. The impressions of our customers are our priority. For now, our hotel is part of the former generations of Premiere Classe Hotels but it will evolve in the coming months. Our rooms and our breakfast are part of the group's standards. We saw your observations and we will do...

Hotel is tired and really needs a bit of TLC. Rooms are dark and noise can be heard from adjacent rooms. However for a 1 night stop over it was fine but I would not want to stay longer. The staff however were very pleasant and eager to assist and even helped me secure a dinner reservation nearby.

I have been in Chambery for 3 days travelling alone. The first advice I want to give to visit touristic office where you can get a map with all interesting places in there. On the city center there is an old fountain from where the mail steet runs. I also advice to find a time to lift on the hill...

We have stayed in Premier Class 'hotels' a number of times but were less than impressed with this one. Staff were helpful and friendly but the accommodation was tired and dated. We were without hot water inexplicably and there was damage to the door and windows. Also very little light in the room.

We have been stopping overnight in La Motte Servolex area of Chambery for past 7 years on our way to ski trips. Whilst it is in an industrial area, as we know this area well, there are good restaurants and bars within 15-20 minutes walk. Also a Super U for food and cheap diesel. This was our first time at...

The room is well below the standard you would expect for the price, it is tiny, and when we entered the room, it absolutely reeked of cigarettes, which had been masked by a sickly air-freshener. I was worried that the smell would get into my clothes. On top of this, the tap would not turn off and we feared the...

We did a 1 night stop over on a road trip. My impression is that it's been a while since the hotel had a refit. The rooms are showing their age. The bathrooms are a little dark and musty. The price was too high for what we got. On the positive side I had a good night's sleep. (Winter. Windows...

We needed a hotel for a one of two one night stops on our way to Slovenia. As we were travelling, and not wanting to wander round an unknown town late afternoon trying to find a city centre hotel we opted for the Campanile at Chambery. The advantages being it is two minutes from the motorway, has a restaurant on...
