We didn't have much to do one day so we got some people together and made a trip to this place. Upon arrival, it's very attractive. They have nice parking, hotel units every one with a porch and hammock, the pool, a main building with the restaurant and the lake. At the side of the lake they have a lot of water craft big and small. It's very nice, very clean and very well taken care of. The pool was small but clean and well maintained. The restaurant was pretty big for such a remote location. We had lunch there. We got a big platter that comes with a variety of dishes chicken, pork, carne, frijoles fritos, platanos and queso. It was good. It wasn't the best food I ever had though. The service was good too. Outside is the place we really wanted to be, at least me and my niece. They have a lot of different boats canoes, kayaks and those little boats where you propel it like a bicycle. We saw a lot of fish swimming down there, and Elsita and I just wanted to spend some time on that lake, but Tia and Elsita's mom had a hair appointment so we couldn't stay long. I'll be back though. This is a very nice place, and I can't wait to go back there an enjoy more of what they have.…

Is a very good experience if your're tryng to rest and if you're trying to get away of all problems in your life. It has a lot of nature, is close to the lake. Is better if you go with your family (including kids)

This was a great choice. Very pretty space with clean, comfortable cabins. My toddler has plenty of room to run around and she loved the horses. Breakfast is not included and the restaurant is a little pricey for Honduras.

It had been 17 years since I last visited this place and I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised about the level of upkeep and care that the owners have given this piece of heaven on earth. The lake is clean, the premises safe and the food was delicious. I had the traditional “pescado frito” and it was delicious and fresh. I am definitely coming back to spend more time.

This is my 10th year to come to the hotel and Finca. It is a very typical hunter and resort. Nothing fancy, but very clean. Good size rooms. Very good air conditioning and hot water. A beautiful setting on the side of a huge lake. Boats to rent, horses to ride, paddle boards, kayaks, and a train ride around the property. The food He's very good, and reasonably priced. The prices are very reasonable, starting at about $55 per night for a double. It is only about 15 minutes from the panel highway. You won't be disappointed!

I stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. Because of the price ($83 per night) you expect some basic stuffs. Needs to improve: service quality, food (overpriced), only 2 towels, no wifi, cleanliness is really bad and lack of maintenance in the cabins. Beds are old, so you can't sleep well. And probably the worst: hundreds of flies at the restaurant and near the pool. What a shame cause the view is amazing and the lake is beautiful.

This hotel is hidden in the mountains of San Pedro Sula. It rests on the banks of the Yojoa Lake and boasts some of the best water activities in Honduras. The fish is caught fresh daily and all of the fruits and vegetables grow on the property. This ranch (finca) is a nature preserve and has horses and other animals roaming the property. The rooms are air conditioned and have wifi. The rooms are spacious and have hammocks in addition to different sized beds. The property is conveniently located just minutes from the city, yet there is no noise. There are conference room, cabins, and swimming pools as well. One can rent ATV's, horses, jet skis and kayaks as well. It is great for groups.

This is my 12th year to stay for a couple of nights. They have made it much nicer this year and updated the dining room and many of the outside attractions. You can rent four by fours, canoes, go out on a boat ride, rent a kayak, ride a horse. Prices are very reasonable, about $60 a night. The food is good and reasonably priced. The cabins are very clean, air condition and have hot water. Do not expect fancy, but you will get clean and an incredible view across the lake to the 4000 foot mountains. You will not be disappointed!
