I really hope that this review gets read prior to anyone booking this property. Laluna is for 30 something’s that have little idea what kind of value should be obtained at a hotel costing $600/night or more. As some have stated this hotel is not for everyone. The rooms and property are run down. The cottages lack sufficient AC, are dark and consist of one electrical outlet with outdated sockets ( I.e. they do not use the standard UK plugs at this property as used on the rest of Grenada). The photos that appear on the website are deceptive as the newer looking rooms do not exist. When I inquired about this, I was told those are photos of condos that may be built in 3 years. This place was so bad my wife and I checked out after 1 night even though we had used Marriott points for 4 nights. If you have any type of disability be warned that the walkways and stairs are in a state of disrepair and are an accident waiting to happen. I can also relate to the ridiculous prices and up charges for everything here including being charged an early departure fee without our knowledge despite the fact we had paid for the room in full with Marriott points. Even the airport pick up fee was misrepresented as costing $39 but I was charged $45. Best advice- find a real 5* property on Grenada like Calabash and stay far away from Laluna. …

Dear Guest, We will like to clarify some facts in your very harsh review of us. You booked your cottage with your Marriott Bonvoy points, and when you arrived you requested and agree to pay for an upgrade to move to a cottage closer to the beach. All our 16 cottages have the same layout and amenities, the only difference in their room category, is their position on the property. We are not a suitable property to persons with disabilities. As is noted clearly on our web site and booking engine 'Please note - Due to the property's topography an accessible room is not available'. Our air condition system and our sockets are well functioning, and we offer different adaptors, in case you have different plugs, depending of your country of origin. Your comment about 'the newer looking condos that may be built in 3 years' you are referring to on our website, are actually our existing luxury villas, that are available to book (also on our web site). We did not charge you for an early departure fee. Your only charge, was for the upgrade that you requested and agreed to pay. The airport transfer rate is US$44.00 since August 2022 (as also advertised on our website). It seems that Laluna was not to your taste, and overall mobility requirements. We are happy that you were able to find a place more suited to your needs. Maybe more research should be done, before you book your next stay at a hotel. Ciao

Hard to find anything bad to say about this place went with girlfriend for 7 nights. Went to restaurants Olivers and Rhodes, but LaLuna was still the best food we ate. Chef is incredible and food is made with love. The bartenders are all awesome people to talk with as are any staff members. Beach is beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. Fishing was lovely pulled in a Mahi and Yellowfin tuna that chef prepared for us the same day. The rooms are clean, AC worked great, lovely view of the ocean from the shower and plunge pool. Wifi was great. The resort is clean and well kept. The staff is top notch. Massage was lovely and peaceful. Even the resort owner / developer was there making sure everything was in check. Amazing experience here and will be back. Not to mention it is very fairly priced in all aspects. …

They have a policy they will not return any money back charge you fully a month before you get there My mom had an accident and couldn’t walk up or down to the room we had to move hotels and they wouldn’t help us at all Be careful they are basically locking in to get paid ahead of your arrival fully you have no say if your not happy

Dear Guest, You arrived at front desk for check- in and you started to complaint about the fact we charged your card before arrival. Our front desk staff was very surprised about your complaint, as we have a clear booking policy written clearly on our web site and in our booking engine stating: 50% of total booking charged at time of confirming the reservation. Balance payable 30 days before arrival. We are sorry for your incident when your mother hurt herself stepping down from the bar. We offered all the medical assistance on site, and furthered offered to organize a hospital visit, which she refused, saying it was not necessary. The management offered you a one night refund on all three of the rooms that you booked, including complimentary room service for your mom, to which you refused. Your review seems very harsh, as we are not responsible for her fall, as she herself said she was distracted. We tried to be helpful and we even refunded 1 night stay for all 3 rooms. We hope that your mother has since recovered fully, and we wish you all the best.

This was our second visit which made even more enjoyable than the first. Small boutique hotel designed in the bohemian spirit which works perfectly for us. Rooms are very quaint and maintain the spirit of the resort, ie comfortable, casual and laid back. Complimentary French Press Coffee makes mornings a joy. Beach is gorgeous, very private and laid back. It’s all about relaxing and veging our with a good book and enjoying the vibe. Not for those who yearn for activities and exploring. Just so relaxed, chilled and all the staff are welcoming - efficient, courteous but not oppressive as in so many resorts. Many of the staff, from front of house to cleaning, have been at La Luna for over 20 years - testimony to good management. The wonderful blend of Grenada, Balinese culture with delicious fresh Italian food make for total bliss. There’s yoga or Pilates six days a week and two HobieCats to sail in the clear waters that are LL’s luxury of private beach and stunning sunsets. This is not a stainless steel and plate glass resort - go somewhere else for that - each of the rooms is delightful; plunge pool, outside shower etc and everything you need. This was our 4th visit to LL and certainly won’t be the last - magical relaxation.

Laluna looks even better than on their website. I just loved the look, the feel and the people. Best place of the island! You feel less in a hotel than in a big family place with service. As I practice yoga every morning, their yoga hall was an especially loved place for me. If only it wouldn’t be so far away from Europe, I would come every year. I hope it will stay the way it is for many years for many people to enjoy. Only drawback was the food, we hoped it would not only have the name‘Italian’ but also be of the same quality. But anyway better than most places in the Caribbean.

My husband and I had an amazing time. The beach cottages were perfect, the spa was amazing, the dining and bar area were perfect. We took yoga, spent time on the beach, had multiple massages. Tracey took excellent care of us both planning things prior to our arrival as well as helping us with everything we needed during our stay. We will be back!

My husband and I loved this boutique hotel. It felt like it’s own sanctuary. Everyone we encountered, starting with Tracy and Lyndon, were very friendly and welcoming. Food at the restaurant on site was fantastic. We loved it so much we brought our family to join one night. The atmosphere is very romantic and the sunset is great from this location. Our Villa was very spacious and clean. The beach is one of the best on the island.
