With 2 friends we were going to the Danube Delta and we split the 900+ km ride from Timisoara in two legs - so we found this location in Curtea de Arges to have a good night sleep. And here are the findings: - location - on Negru Voda street - very quiet a few rooms guest house - very clean and very comfortable. Ideal for our needs. - prices - very pocket friendly - about 25-30 euro/night - I would say excellent. And you can pay with credit card. Reception is working till 20:00 so try to get there before that time. parking in the courtyard is limited to 3 spots - so it might be a challenge if the spots are taken already. - staff - very friendly and helpful. - no breakfast, we left very early, but I recon it is available upon request - but if you wanted a coffee it was available on spot. - room and bathroom - very clean ... really nothing to complain, all the amenities available And worth mentioning - if you dine at the restaurant "La Conac" - 500 m up the street form this spot - you get 10% discount. Overall a very nice spot - if you are not looking for luxury it can be a great stay for an overnight stop or even for 2-3 days if you decide to visit the area. I recommend you check it out if you need accommodation in the area.

Spending a night in Curtea de Arges - revisiting this place I know for some years ... it was again a very good experience. Location - fairly close to the center and main street ... not more than 15-20 min walking. Parking in the courtyard for a few cars - more than enough for what we needed. Room and bathroom very clean ... by any standard very clean. Comfortable bed and due to the period of the year the heating was on - so it was very comfortable. Breakfast we did not need nor book since we were leaving very early in the morning. Service and payment easy and fast ... much faster than in many "big" hotels. Overall a very nice spot - even for more nights I can recommend. Simple but good quality accommodation nothing to complain ... if you are looking for quiet, good night sleep with all the things you need at hand I recommend you choose this place. (been a guest more than once, and if I can when I need I'll book it again)

we were forced to sit down at this boarding house and I do not regret for a moment that we did. we arrived late at night, and Mihaela was very nice (even if we woke her out of sleep) and accommodated us upstairs in a room with a matrimonial bed. in the morning I lay in bed and studied the room, tastefully arranged with everything you needed. at 9 am we went down to the kitchen to serve breakfast. a real breakfast, with lots of goodies, to start your day with a smile on your lips (I'm not a big fan of breakfast, but this time I did not resist the temptation to taste every little bit, especially from jams made in the house). I highly recommend this wonderful place.

Located in a quiet area, 15 minute walk from main street. Small shops and bars nearby.
It’s a family run business, so service was personal and attentive,
Accommodation is very comfortable, with a robe provided 😊. The hosts even supplied a listing of TV stations, which many of the major hotels fail to provide. Wi-fi in room reliable.
Breakfast was a small selection of hot and cold.

In Curtea de Arges for a European project my colleagues and I stayed in this cosy hotel. The landlady Ioana and her husband are great hosts. Roma are reali comfortabe eventualmente if simple. There is a flat TV and bathroom isxwell furnished. There is hair dryer, show cleaner, rush, bottle of mineral water . Breakfast is really good with so many things available . I stringi suggest Pensiunea Ioana.

The room is clean and comfortable. We stayed only one night. We needed an extra bed for the child and it was provided and it was very good. Parking is available. The breakfast is basic. The place is really nice and the staff very helpful.

This B&B is in a new building located in the southern part of the town, a 15-minute walk up the street to the Princely Church of St. Nicholas and the area lined with restaurants. The owner helped us get parked in the off-street area next to the B&B. He then welcomed us with a shot of his home-made tuica. Noroc! The room was simple, clean and comfortable. They gave us a voucher for a 10% discount at a pleasant restaurant. Breakfast the next morning was buffet-style with the usual fare + fried chicken cutlets. Nice touch. Great value for the money. Happy to recommend.

Our hostess Mihaela was very very welcoming and could not do enough for us. The pensiunea is well located on the main road into Curtea, the room we had was lovely, we had slippers and bathrobe provided - air conditioning in the room too. We sat out in the garden after a long drive and sipped a cold beer - it was just lovely. Breakfast is provided in a small room - plenty of coffee, choice of teas, toast, fresh vegetables, cheese, eggs - all buffet help yourself style. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone and if ever find ourselves near Curtea de Arges will certainly be booking in with our new friend. Another plus is the cost - it was only 30 Euros for the two of us (and Mihaela prefers payment in euros, in cash which suits us). Try it and you won't be disappointed I'm sure.

we returned after 2 years and we were pleasantly surprised by the new facilities we found (air conditioning - even if not needed, bathrobes and slippers, minibar equipped with various products - water, wine, beer, juices and chocolate, and be on the whole property with an excellent signal, fabulous breakfast, etc.). we were delighted to rejoin the owners with whom we had a glass of traditional drink. We came for the second time to this pension and we noticed that if hotel stars were judged by how much the owners care about their guests, this would easily be 5 stars. We stayed here for 1 night while returning to Bucharest from our trip through Romania and, as mentioned by previous reviewers, other than the pleasantness of the pension itself, the main attraction is the warm welcome you receive from the english-speaking owners. They couldn't have been more friendly, even treating us to home-made gems at breakfast. This is an excellent value-for-money location that makes a perfect stop off after travelling across the mountains.
