We have visited Archaia Epidavros for the third time and stayed again is this nice hotel. The building is perfectly located by the harbour of the town, facing the wonderful little bay that is always a pleasure to look at. All facilities are clean and well lept, the rooms are bright and air conditioned. The staff were friendly as always, the breakfasts delicious, the service just perfect. We couldn't ask for anything that they wouldn't manage for us. I recommend this place for everyone for a charming holiday!
Good place across the road to marina. Small room, cozy restaurant with a patio. The beach in town was not as good as in many other places we visited but this was our first day of vacation so it was a go. Short drive to Epidavros archaeological sight.
We stayed in the Christina hotel for 2 nights as we were attending the theatre. Family run hotel which is spotlessly clean. Plenty of hot water and towels for showering. Extremely comfortable beds and extra pillows in the cupboard. The air conditioner cooled the room as it was very hot outside. The balcony has incredible views of the bay. Right in the middle of ancient Epidaurus close to restaurants and cafes. We had breakfast in the shade at the hotel for around €8 per person including coffee of your choice. Plenty of choice. Close to decent beaches. Couldn't find any negatives except for the water pressure which is beyond their control. I will definitely return for a weekend.
I stayed at Hotel Christina with a large group and the family who owns the hotel were so accommodating, even providing a final group dinner for us on our last night provided by grandma Christina herself from her best recipes. Breakfasts were homemade and included the best orange juice I've ever had. The hotel provides a wonderful view of the sea with balconies outside of each room and was very clean and quiet. The beaches nearby were clean and easily accessible. I would definitely visit again!
Epidavros is the most beautiful place on earth and there’s no place I’d rather stay than in the care of grandma Christina!! The food was amazing—that homemade marmalade could be the key to world peace— the rooms were clean and the staff was so friendly and willing to cater to all our idiosyncrasies as a group. The people of Epidavros are friendly and enthusiastic and the staff at hotel christina’s Purely embody those qualities. And the view— nothing could beat the sun rising over the ocean with the smell of oranges tickling your senses ❤️
We had a great time here! Clean, perfect location, and very friendly staff. The hotel restaurant downstairs had a great breakfast. Our room also had a balcony, which was nice. Epidavros is definitely worth a visit!
We spent a weekend in this hotel at the beginning of July. The staff was very kind and willing to help us. The beach is great and easily accessible. The downtown is close and you can walk. There are several restaurants close to the hotel.
My Wife and I have just spent a week at this friendly and welcoming hotel having previously visited in 2016. Hotel Christina continues to live up to its reputation which gained it a Certificate of Excellence. We took advantage of its lovely situation by taking a second floor front facing room with a wonderful view over the port and bay of Epidaurus. The room was air conditioned at no extra charge (very welcome in Greece's first heatwave of the year), the bed was very comfortable which is not always the case in Greece and the room spotlessly clean. Breakfast is very good and the service from Giorgos, Costas and the family is second to none, nothing seems to be too much trouble and they were happy to let us keep our room until after midday as we had a late flight home. Highly recommended, and we hope to visit again in the future.…
Enjoyed our stay here. Good hosts. Excellent breakfast....especially the marmalade! Lovely balcony overlooking the sea. Could have stayed longer but we were touring Peloponnese. Would definitely go back
Friends recommended Hotel Christina and our expectations were more than fulfilled. The hotel is in a lovely location looking out across the bay, with pleasant tree shaded cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. The room was very clean with the most comfortable bed I have experienced in many years Greek travel. Best of all was the warm and genuinely hospitable welcome we received from the family who run the hotel. Highly recommended.
