Great location Amazing homemade breakfast Orange juice from garden’s orange trees Very kind owners and staff Superbly clean Spacious rooms with a balcony with a spectacular view Room decoration is of high aesthetic Will definitely come back
Stayed for three nights. Previously stayed many years ago for one night and had great memories of that stay and high expectations. This time it was even more impressive. The hotel is very efficiently run and everything has a quality feel. The gardens are lovely, the infinity pool was amazing and the room was great. Lots of character touches everywhere and so much attention to detail. The breakfast was very good and far too much to eat. We had dinner on two nights and this was also excellent and with similar prices to local tavernas. The staff were really attentive and professional. It is a small place with just 14 rooms but feels far superior to many other places we have stayed which are much bigger and significantly more expensive. Overall great value for money and we will return. Only thing to bear in mind is the slope of the drive. You need a car and it is very steep. The owner recommended we turn the air con off in our small hire car and this made the ascent much easier. The views from the hotel terraces, lounges and bedrooms easily makes up for the hill.…
We loved everything, the pretty hotel with the stunning view, the pool and the beautiful garden, the people who work there and the owner (so friendly!).. and everywhere the smell of oranges and aloe vera. The food was great…(an amazing breakfast, every day!)……really, I wish I could go back tomorrow… thank you Yialasi hotel.
My wife and I recently spent a happy week at Yialasi Hotel. Highlights: * the fantastic manager/owner, who when seeing that my wife had a mobility problem (on the mend) immediately juggled his reservations so that we could get a room accessible by the minimum of stairs. Later on he upgraded the W10 installation on my laptop (connecting it to his own installation by Ethernet cable) so that I could access the hotel's WiFi. * the breakfast was, in consequence of the pandemic, served at your table. The staff varied the serving from day to day impressively. * the place as such is really above praise as has been described by other reviewers. The distances and topography make a car indispensable, preferably with a confident driver (the manager saved me when I had got stuck!)
Excellent accommodation experience close to ancient Epidavros and walking distance to nearby beach. Great location which offers awesome view from all rooms (ie we have stayed in 3 rooms so far) , as well as from breakfast area and swimming pool. Rooms are spacious, well equipped and very clean. Breakfast is also very good. Last but not least, hotel is managed in a very professional way by owner!
We stayed for 6 nights and cannot recommend it enough. Beautifully designed, the staff were all delightful, it was such a relaxing place to be. A great base for exploring, but we spent much more time at the hotel than we normally would as it was so lovely. Super meals in the garden in the evening, and great value. Will definitely return.
Very nice hotel for good money! Very nice rooms and great infinity pool. The restaurant of the hotel is excellent. Great authentic greek food with a nice twist! In the evening is the restaurant a very romantic setting. All is value for money!!
This is a special place that will create you an addiction. Once you will be so lucky to find one of their large apartments, all with magnificent sea views, you will book again and again every year. Kosta and Panagiota are a splendid young couple who will makes you feel the owner of your own villa. There is enough space to stay in a large distance from other guests and feel the peace and immensity of the magical sea view. They are very careful about hygiene and safety measures. Breakfast is abundant and served at your table. Every day there are different choices of local products and interesting cooked specialties. Tomato, cucumber, peperoni and different fruits plus fresh orange juice are always present so even a vegan guest can have a very rich choice with cereals and nuts. You can ask to have eggs at your choice with anything you desire. At lunch you can enjoy a tasty light or good meal depending on your mood but at evening the scenery becomes so romantic and private that you will not resist to order one of their excellent bottles of wine to celebrate every day of your stay at Yialasi! We traveled a lot in Europe so we can compare. This place deserve the 6th star!…
This place is special. The room, the food, the pool, the view, and the owner all were great, one of our best experiences on this trip. Would be a great place to stay a few days getting away from it all. Glad we took the time to find it after visiting the fantastic ruins of Epidavros.
Yialasi is unique! Hidden in olive trees and flowers, very clean and every detail is perfect. Kostas ,the owner , is very friendly and helpful . The pool is just amazing with a great view of Epidavros! Totally recommended, you will enjoy it for sure!
