Overall we really enjoyed our stay here due to the owners' and staff customer service, gorgeous views, and beautiful orchard grounds. The breakfasts were overally plentiful (and excellent) and the optional evening meals were very good (not on the gourmet level, but still very good - good enough we ate there all 3 nights we stayed). The room was just OK. From the previous reviews I have to believe that possibly there is quite a bit of difference in the one-bedroom apartments (which we had) and the newer rooms up the hill. Some very easy upgrades could elevate the apartment from just OK to very good. Our initial first impression of the apartment started out with immediately seeing the extra bed in the living area with an worn, faded comforter. Although not terribly worn, the living area furnishings/decorative items just appeared cheap. The bathroom was tiny with no space to store toiletries - there were a few insects crawling in the bathroom, although I guess you can't control that with open screenless windows - the fresh air was welcome, but it did allow insects in. The bedroom furnishings were nice but fairly cramped with a vanity table with mirror (which was needed due to the very limited space in the bathroom) and also a large armoir. The bedroom bed was comfortable, but my daughter complained that the extra bed in the living area was hard and uncomfortable. The kitchen area was very small but fairly attractive - we were glad we didn't intend to cook due to the very limited space. This place deserves 4 stars for the views and service - if the same attention to detail had been given to outfitting the apartment I would have given 5 stars.
Tip: Our GPS could not find this place. There are several different places in this area called "Epidavros" which are several miles apart. "Yailasi" was not in the hotel locator and entering the street did not help either. This place is very difficult to find if you don't know the area. We were finally able to consistently find the place by entering another hotel in the immediate area which was actually listed in the GPS system. Be sure you know how to get here before leaving. Directions with the confirmation email would have been helpful

The beds were very comfortable. Maria and Olympia cooked dinner for us as if we were family. We walk to the beach ithrough orange groves and swam in clear waters.

We were immediately charmed by the location - nice, small houses surrounded by orange trees. We opted out for one of the studios, everything was clean and pleasant; only the kitchen was a bit outdated, but it is not so serious an issue when you are in summertime and eat mainly fresh vegetables and fruits.
Maria is very generous - offering fresh oranges from her garden everyday, but also peaches, olives, olive oil...
The studio was kept very clean throughout our 7-day stay at Epidavros, and everyone was kind.
The beach is really close, you just have to share it with the campings, but it was not crowdy, far from it. Family atmosphere.
We enjoyed staying there, at a rate which is quite reasonable (50 euros per day for a studio where a small, one-child family can live happily in summertime !).
Maria is very generous - offering fresh oranges from her garden everyday, but also peaches, olives, olive oil...
