Nice chalet in the middle of forests, smart equipped and comfy apartment and garden and very pleasant host, qualified to advice or help. Our apartment shouldn't be offered for two peoples and little baby - there was no possibility to place child bed to bedroom, so it must be in kitchen.

Vila Triglav will provide you with luxury in the middle of Pokljuka forests. Rooms are spacious and represent mix of traditional and modern. The wellnes part is truly unique thanks to hot thub under the sky. However the most special part is the land surrounding the vila, the Pokljuka forests full of wild strawberries, blueberries an mushrooms. Great place for walks and mountain biking.

We only had 2 days in Slovenia and are grateful we were able to stay at this lovely guest house. The location is a stunning drive into the National Park where you feel remotely peaceful but are only about 20 minutes from Lake Bled and at a beautifil destination for relaxing, hiking and mountain biking. The Vila is spacious, spotless, relaxing and charming. Tadej Valjavec is a gracious host who helped map a wonderful day of moutaining biking in the area. The Vila's sauna and outdoor hot tub were a definite treat at the end of each day. We also appreciated that Tadej shared some of his professional biking history during our visit. His biking career is impressive and nice that he shares his love of biking at this beautiful destination. We had a delicious traditional dinner prepred by Tredej one evening and enjoyed the scenic drive into the lakeside town of Stara Fuzina the 2nd evening for dinner. We are gratefule for the wonderful expereince, we discovered a new favorite hobby in mountain biking and hope to return again to the mountain view from Vila Triglav.

If you are looking for a restful, quiet and relaxing place to stay in the Triglav National park, go for Vila Triglav. It is located about 3km away from the Biathlon center in Pokljuka and a perfect antipole to the always crowded, noisy, way-too-touristy, and expensive city of Bled. We have been there for 3 nights in June for a biking and hiking holiday and it was one of our best recent holidays. We stayed in the room "Tadej" which was spacious and comfortable and we also enjoyed the private Spa with sauna, outdoor hot tub and recreational room a lot. What makes this place really exceptional is the hospitality of the host. Tadej and his family serve excellent breakfast with local ingredients, take care of your daily tour planning and on certain days also prepare a 3-course-dinner with locally sourced Slovenian specialties, an offer you should definitely take. You probably do no want to eat anywhere else in the area once you enjoyed dinner here. And if you did, I recommend to go for the dinner at the nearby Sporthotel which is still way better than anything you find in Bled for a reasonable price. Besides that, Tadej speaks 6 languages fluently, is an excellent cook and a former ProTour road cyclist. As a hobbyist cyclist I much enjoyed chatting about his experiences from the Tour de France, Giro'd'Italia and other races. We had our road bikes with us and explored the Triglav region with the bike and a hiking tour. Nevertheless, you should be aware that Slovenian roads can be quite bumpy and that the hills are steep. Going for a mountain bike tour probably gives you a better experience of the Triglav area than a road bike tour. Tadej has several mountain bikes for rent and can give you recommendations on how to get around. You can even book him as a tour guide. All in all, I highly recommend Vila Triglav to anybody who is looking for recreation and nature experience in this area. The hospitality is oustanding and deserves more than 5 stars.

Villa set in nature reserve around 1 hour away from the airport. Rooms are like cabins and have a rustic charm and very clean, with heating. Went for a biking holiday and the host and his extended family were our guide, support, cook and cleaning team - fantastic job. Slovenia home-cooked meals, and hearty breakfasts. There's an outdoor hot-fueled hot hub, as well as sauna for guests. Guests can go for hikes in surrounding forests. Superb holiday for us.

We chose Vila Triglav for our honeymoon and it turned out to be one of the best choices ever made. We had an amazing time full of Slovenian hospitality, traditional and delicious food and excellent tips for hiking trips. The location is simply amazing. Vila is hidden in forests and the mountains and lakes nearby give you many options for sport activities or lazy afternoon trips. You can also borrow high quality mountain bikes from Tadej and enjoy the local hills with feet in the pedals. We fell in love with the Vila and our room, which became our new home for a whole week. It had a special atmosphere thanks to the traditional wooden furniture, was always perfectly clean and cosy. After a day spent in the mountains, the hot tub was another unique experience and together with the wellness in wooden chalet is perfect for relaxing. We can highly recommend this accommodation to any pairs, families or friends. It is a place like any other we have been before. Well deserved 5 stars!

We reserved the entire villa for a family trip, and couldn't have chosen a better place. All of the rooms are spacious - our favorites were Tadej, with a large living room, separate bedroom, and two small kids' beds plus lots of storage to hide away all of our stuff, but bath only, no shower. Erazem is also a great room with bunk beds and a double bed, and living room space. The rooms and beds are comfortable. The highlight for us was the food. We had breakfasts and two dinners there and all of the meals were fantastic. The drive up to the villa is a good 20 minutes on winding mountain roads from Bled - it means that we went up and down once a day, but didn't want to run back and forth into town. The setting around the villa is beautiful, with a number of easy hikes, and great mountain views. A few caveats - we reserved the whole villa and got the sense from the booking site that we were reserving the whole house including kitchen, laundry machines, etc. It turns out that we were really just reserving all of the rooms, and while the rooms had mini-fridges we didn't have access to the kitchen to cook our own meals, and weren't able to do laundry as we had planned. (The hosts offer laundry service.) Even with reserving all of the rooms, it was more of a hotel experience and less of a private villa experience. But no complaints - I would go back in a heartbeat.

Everything is perfect. Location, accommodation, service... The Vila is in the middle of the forest close to the Pokljuka biathlon centre, but not far away from Bohinj or Bled. The service is personalized and attentive without being pretentious. The food is home made and delicious. I didn't find it necessary to dine out throughout my stay. Definitely a "gem" and very good value for money.
