Nestled in a picturesque location, Bohinj ECO Hotel delights guests with its cleanliness and scenic setting, especially noted for the comfortable atmosphere created by beautiful rooms with expansive windows and mountain vistas. While the hotel's proximity to attractions and ski areas is a draw, opinions on value are mixed due to extra costs and pricey services.
Guests generally enjoy the sizeable, modern rooms and on-site amenities like the aquapark and dining, but some have pointed out shortcomings in noise insulation and room features. Service quality varies, with commendations for staff friendliness tempered by occasional maintenance and responsiveness issues.

Detailed Reviews
Sincerely, we were very excited about coming to the hotel before our arrival - after a weekend staying there, we were dissapointed by what we got and how much we payed for it.
The stuff was very helpfull and the room was also ok (even though we had a terible view, and this was a ''superior'' room) but everything else we boh thought at the end was too average for the price we payed. The breakfast was ok but not great (most of the food is gone if you arrive after 9AM), the room was ok but the view sucked and the bathroom shower was broken (room 402) , the ''exclusive welness'' we payed extra (36€) is not so exclusive as they sell it. I wanted to make a surprise for my partner and ordered some fruit and a mini champagne for the room upon our arrival - I payed 15€ EXTRA for some pieces of fruit we got (which the cost was maybe 5€ in real life) and 10€ extra for 2dc of champagne. As much we want to find something positive is sure to say that maybe the hotel needs to work on some things.

The hotel is in a great location with easy access to both Bled and Bohinj either driving or cycling. The rooms are well decorated, clean and tidy and combined with the complementary access to the spa / swimming pool next door provide a great chance for relaxation after a long day hiking or exploring.
The breakfast is good and the restaurant was usually busy although we didn't eat there. Staff were friendly and happy to answer any question we had.
Overall a great base for a Bled / Bohinj adventure holiday.

Me and my boyfriend took a weekend trip to Bohinj. We really enjoyed the surroundings and the hotel service of the hotel. The value was great for the location, it is much more peaceful than Bled, which is only 5 min away by car, if you wish to go. Also breakfast and dinner at the hotel were top notch, we were so full, we did not eat lunch during the day. We will come back :)

The reviews that I've submitted during the survey link that we got sent don't seem to get posted??? Posting a separate review here:
Dusty and outdated room with a modern bathroom.
TV was old and the brightness was set to maximum with no way of chanigng it so it was impossible to watch a movie during the night
Room advertised having an AC but it didn't work - reception said it goes to "silent mode" after 22h but it just stops working. Room got very hot and humid very quickly and opening the window was not an option as there was a loud river right beneath us. What's the point of turning the AC off if most people are outside during the day and need/want it during the night??
Breakfast had a good choice of cold meals but inadequate offer of warm meals - no fresh omlettes, no pancakes etc. Definitely expected a lot more considering the price of the stay and considering budget hotels are offering a lot more for a lot less.
Didn't get the chance to use the pool even though we paid for it, so we thought about going for a swim the last day we were at the hotel but were surprised when the staff said we have to pay 10€ to use it because it opens after 10am which is when we were supposed to leave the rooms.
Staff was kinda nice and parking was free, so that's something.
The hotel was advertised and looked as being a premium choice and so was the price. Would not recommend at all, at least not at this price range. The hotel is also located next to a huge factory so unless you get the rooms overlooking Bohinjska Bistrica, you're stuck looking at an old factory.

We enjoyed our 4nights stay incl New Year's Eve party.
Beds and rooms are comfortable and nice.
Unfortunately the air condi can not switch off ,which is very annoying and unhealthy if you are sensitive.
If you go with friends you can spend some time not only in the lobby area but on the floor, where your room located.
Hotel is an avarage 4* one with nice staff everywhere within the building. There are lot of internal and external parking space.
Restaurant works smoothly thanks to the nice staff. We needed glu free food, we had some choice but I felt this is not a 100% glu free hotel.
Due to crowded season we did not want to ask any extra from the chef only 1case when all food was unsuitable.
But anyway for other people the breakfast and dinner buffet are very colourful, much more than an avarage Austrian hotel provides.
You can go to the aquapark through a corridor.you get textile slipper but recommend to take your own rubber one:) the aqua area is nice with good pool, children can enjoy it.
There is a small skating area beside the hotel. It is very good for children. Cca 15kms far fm the hotel there is a family friendly ski slope Soriska plahina, i can recommend if you are beginner.

I spent two night in this hotel with my 5.5 year old daughter. I have chosen it on the basis of friends recommendations (mostly because of Aquapark). The price for a night should be 185 per night, meaning no consideration that the other person in the room was a child. The bill I was sent to confirm the booking was 403 EUR (bed and breakfast) but I completely overlooked it, bearing in mind only what I was told, that one night is around 185.
The room we were given looked towards the backside on an old farm, which didnt bother me. The room was without balcony and rather cold. What I completely missed was that there was no wifi in the room, mentioning that I received the answer that some room lacked the good connection. Well, then you need to work on that right?
TV (flatscreen) was in the room, from approx 100 channels, only around 50 worked. Asking about the list of channels that work (my daughter wanted to watch cartoons) they told me, there were already some requests to get the list but they didnt have it. Asking about one simple channel with cartoons, the answer was they know they dont offer many channels. Asking about the wifi, the answer was they recommend i go to the part where there is good connectivity , download some programme my daughter wants to watch and then she can watch it in our room! Excuse me? For 185 per night! And if I pay the same price for her then, please, offer her the same service!
During the night we realized that the curtains dont cover the windows completely and because there were some very strong lights in the areas of that farm, the room had a lot of light during the night. My daughter woke up in the middle of the night asking if she needs to get up since it is so bright in the room? And couldnt sleep for the next two hours. In the morning we were both, well, not relaxed after the night.
In the morning i requested another room. The perosn in charge gave me the key of another room and asked me if I could check it if it would suit. The key didint work, coming back to reception area, he came with me just to realize that the new room I should be given was already occupied.
In the after noon I was given another room.
Rhe breakfast is average, o local specialties, not a big variaty of food. (bearing in mind two weeks earlier I spent 2 nights in a hotel in Kranjska Gora, also 4 , star, the price for 2 nights was 250 - compared to 400 in Eco Hotel - and the breakfast was no comparison to the one in Eco Hotel=.. Dinner was average, no special food, nothing worth mentioning.
All in all, Eco Hotel is an average 3-4 star hotel with nice pool area but lacks hospitality, doesnt offer everything it says and thinks becaouse of the beautiful nature nearby guests will flock there without asking why the prices are so high and the quality, well not that high.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. There weren't many guests there during our stay.
We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant, both were very diverse and delicious. The waitors were friendly and helpful.
The room (family suite) was nice, a clothes rack would come in handy to dry the bathing towels.
The location is great. Bowling was closed while we stayed at the hotel, the outside pool was being renovated, the pool restaurant was closed. It would have been nice to get this information in advance. The sauna area on 1st floor wasn't as shown on the photos from the hotel gallery. It lacks privacy, the romantic vibe... It's not a place where I would feel comfortable or want to visit it again.

My partner and I stayed at Bohinj ECO Hotel for a couple of nights at the beginning of October. Overall we had a pleasant experience. The staff is very professional and helpful and they will provide you with every information needed. Common hotel facilities are nice and well maintained. The aqua park is medium size, but it is nice and clean. Breakfast and dinner were mainly continental, tasty and there was a pretty wide range of different dishes to pick from. If you're not picky you'll be more than fine. The only thing that I can complain about is that our room wasn't very clean upon our arrival. There was a lot of dust on the furniture and the floor. I'm not being picky here, but it was really dusty. There was also pretty much cobweb on the sealing and in the sealing corners. Most of the furniture wooden parts were damaged. The same goes for the closet sliding doors as they kept closing constantly. We had a feeling that the room wasn't inspected regarding its cleanness before the two of us arrived, but it was cleaned and closed after the last guests left it, which in our opinion was quite some time ago. Regarding other stuff like sheets, towels, bed, etc. everything was super clean.

Too expensive and overpriced for what is offered.
Washing your hair in the shower in the bathroom has turned into a mission impossible as the water flows literally in drops. The variety of food is far from what it should be for that price and to be expected. Old bread from the day before at breakfast certainly does not belong to the hotel offer . Wi-fi only worked in the lobby and in the central part of the hallway, while it didn’t work in the room. Too expensive for what is being offered and advertised.
The large indoor pool area, spa, bowling at least partially correct the negative impression of the rest.
As far as the hotel staff is concerned, their helpfulness and kindness deserve all the praise.

Wonderful place. A quiet village, without the crowds of tourists, surrounded by mountains, peace and quiet. The train and bus stations very close (you can take an autovlak to the Soča valley, train to Lake Bled or free bus to Lake Bohijn). Close to the shops, restaurant opposite, although dinner can also be eaten in the hotel. Lots of space in common places, in the lobby, on the floors with sofas, vending machine, fireplace and massage chairs. You can relax with a view of the mountains. Comfortable rooms, large balconies. Comfortable beds. Bathrooms great, everything brand new. Everything very clean. Unlimited access to the water park and one visit in sauna (included in the price) is an additional plus. The service is great. Especially the receptionist Žan. He likes what he does. Very helpful, very friendly. A large selection of various products for breakfasts, everyone will find something for themselves. On the day of departure, very early in the morning, we got take-away packages, even more than we would have had for breakfast on site. Very, very nice.

There were some vegetarian options at the buffet, but not loads, and a few veggie choices on the set menu. I most ate veggie while I was there and did feel the selection was limited. I can't remember there being very much option for vegans but I am sure the hotel would cater for you.
I paid for EUR 85 - to Ljubljana Airport.
Dear Davor,
At Vogel is ski school for kids and for adults also. My opinion that the ski center is suitable for beginners.
Good luck and enjoy.
Bikes can be rented at the ECO Hotel and there is a dedicated bike trail to the Lake. There is also free local transport bus shuttle to the Lake and around included in the Guest Card.
