There are two buildings owned by the same ladies. The one closest to the center of town is the hostel, while the other is closest to the Nature Reserve. They are but 2 blocks apart. We stayed at the hostel and had a small, private room. It was clean and had a lovely balcony overlooking the sea. We ate breakfast...

As we started climbing the rocky path towards our "room", I thought, oh my, it's a good thing neither my husband nor I have any health issues. Up, up, up and then down, down, down we climbed but upon arriving at our secluded sea retreat, I was enchanted. The cabin was homey, comfortable and clean with a wide-open sea view....

A very nice small and personal hotel situated very close to the water in picturesque Lysekil. Built in 1904 and had housed vacationing nurses and even an old swedish king. Wonderful breakfast! Small and many things to choose from. Well worth a visit if you are in the northern part of the. Archipelago on the west side.

The very friendly staff will make you feel at home in this cosy hotel. Hotel rooms have different decorations. The garden is very nice and offers a great view over the fjord. Good and complete breakfast offered as well a a very good dinner.

Strandflickornas Havshotell I use for many years. Traveling 2 - 3 times a year to Lysekil for business this hotel is a nice hide out. Nowdays it has a kind of restaurant setting; serving food on their terms. Not in the traditional way, not like 2 or 3 courses, but mainly focussing on the main course. Different pies, fish, meat...

I describe the hotel as being like Polyanna's house - timber cladding outside and in. The bedrooms are basic , but each is themed differently. There is good food in the restaurant, if a limited menu. The staff are young and friendly - they live in the town and leave the building at 21:30 ........ No bar, but there is...

This is a really great boutique hotel. The rooms are a little quirky but are wonderful. It's almost like a museum of life. My room (14) has a Remington typewriter and various box cameras. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and, although a little limited in choice, the food is freshly prepared and very tasty.

Although the rooms are small, this is a special and quaint hotel that we like!. The breakfasts are nice and on warm days it is really nice to sit in the back garden. There is really nice hiking/walking right from the hotel westward towards the beautiful landscape along this pink granite coastline. We´ll be back!

We were seven guys from Denmark spending two nights at this charming hotel. This is the perfect spot when you are going to dive the nice area of Lysekil. The hotel offers room for hanging your wet- or drysuits and other diving gear. It's possible to cook your own food and the people working there are very friendly. We have...

We really didn't know what to expect, but the hotel had looked interesting in the guide book. Arriving tired, a very friendly woman check us in and directed us to the kitchen where fresh coffee and cookies awaited us. We took a stroll thru the town and were amazed at all the fun activities we could do on a longer...
