Only a short 10 min stroll to the eating area of town near the white bridge, we had a tremendous suite on the ground floor with a writing desk and separate sitting area and all the mod cons expected. The room had a great bathroom/shower and we enjoyed a good buffet breakfast. Friendly staff topped off a great overnight stay.

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms had best access to the breakfast room but still had a nice view over the gardens.

This hotel was clean but the beds were hard. There was a good hairdryer but the switch was at the back of the holder and could only be seen in the mirror. Minimal toiletries shampoo and soap. We arrived late but the kitchen was still open and they agreed to serve us dinner. Our meal was served fairly promptly but some of our party were still eating 2 hours later. The food was OK without being great. Breakfast was adequate.

Argo has 4 stars on its sign outside. It is a 3 star place - just. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The rooms are functional - not a lot of space but OK. The breakfast offering is OK - nothing exceptional. It’s a 15 minute walk into town.

Hotel Argo is a really nice place to stay just ten minutes stroll to the centre of Kutaisi. Once they finish the major roadworks outside the front it will be even better. The hotel is clean and modern but with character. The good workmanship is evident in the quality, well-finished tiling and elegant stairways. We stayed there twice and each time got great rooms with plenty of space and storage options, a safe, fridge and electric jug. Bathrobes and slippers were provided as was complimentary water and well-functioning wifi. The rooms on the second and particularly the first floors had nice high ceilings. The staff were all very helpful and helpful. A good, but limited, buffet breakfast was available in a pleasant setting.
