This is a good standard hotel situated in the old town of Kutaisi poised on the hill. Hand held shower with no recess a bit of a suprise. Dinner was a buffet style spread was plentiful and delicious. Walking distance to Catherdral.
Average hotel, with nice wiew to Kutaisi. Food ok. Rooms are clean, elevator exists. Bathroom is a nice combination of toilet and shower. I recommend only with car, it is quite a distance from the centre.
We spent 2 nights here with our private guide. We were on a budget and the guest house fit our expectations. Clean and simple. The second day we only had slightly warm water in the shower, but the view made up for it.
The owner of "hotel " acts without any knowledge about hospitality.Bathroom curtains are not in the right place, water is leeking on the floor from bathtube because it is not connected to pipelines.Doors to bathrooms are outdoors from plastic. The window of our room was covered with plastic so you can't look threw it.The interior of the hotel is eclectic. While walking to breakfast room, everyone is passing threw laundry. The elevator is old. The name"hotel " for this big private house is too solid.…
Hotel "GORA" is a good choice for those who want to spend a night or two in Kutaisi, to have plentiful both breakfasts and late dinners, including the wine made by the owner himself. Big group of tourists simply MUST to consider "GORA"! Daumantas B.
