We arrived in torrential rain feeling disgruntled after a long journey. We were met by a most friendly owner who went out of his way to be helpful. The room was spotless with a huge bathroom. He gave us tips for restaurants that evening. Next morning our breakfast was an amazing experience. delicious dishes kept arriving - a mixture of vegetable and filo pastry stuffed with cheese, rice with carrot and sweetcorn, aubergine, swiss roll, tubs of yogurt, eggs and more!! A feast fit for a king.
If you're looking for a place to stay between Tbilisi and Batumi, or near the beautiful canyons and waterfalls of Kutaisi, this is the place for you. Zaza and his wife are warm and welcoming hosts will do anything to make you fill like home. We arrived late at night and the couple insisted of preparing us dinner, drinks, and even fixing our car, and refuses to take any extra payment. The place is nice and quiet, just few minutes driving from the center of Kutaisi. Truly recommended!
I spent one night at this hotel as I had a flight from Kutaisi early morning. Reception staff and the owner were all friendly and quite attentive. My room was very nice, with all the required amenities and the bed very comfortable. Everything was perfectly clean. I will certainly stay again next time I’m in Kutaisi.
Small and cosy hotel on the main road, a few kilometers from downtown Kutaisi. You can park next to the road in front of the hotel. Owners speak decent English, which is extremely rare in Georgia. The rooms are clean and have a good working airconditioning. Bathroom is a bit basic but ok. The breakfast is incredible. You get cold and warm dishes (khinkali, khatchapuri, omelettes, fried potatoes, blinis with honey, yoghurt, toast, fruit....). The owner keeps on putting things on the table! To top it all, this was not an expensive place to spend the night. We stayed two times here during our road trip Georgia-Armenia-Azerbaijan. Highly recommendable.
Its the most welcome and exceptionally well managed hotel I've ever been. You will be met by the owner who is a 'proper' georgian man who honours hotels reputation, high standards of hospitality and will ensure guests are not missing anything. If needed will he/his team will take guests with his own car to the city to ensure their stay is a-z completed. We were fortunate to even try local drinks to get to know the local culture better. Its the place where you'd feel as part of a family. All of my next visits to Georgia will start from this hotel. Hotel is located in a good place between the airport and the city (circa 15 min both direction) and local taxies are relativelly cheap. Transportation and any other arrangements can be asked by the local team who will help with a great pleasure. If I could re-run my holiday plans, I would have stayed at this hotel first and extended my stay longer. Excursions and tailored trips can be arranged as well from there. Its the place where you'd need to land first to get best local advises by the locals. Make sure you arrange a trip to Svaneti mountains an Prometheus caves which are reachable from the hotel. Its a must to note that owners wife has a very delicate architecture and design skillset which were applied across the hotel and the landscape. I have picked some really good ideas for my own home for which I am incredibly greatful. Breakfast are served 'to its full', meaning that variety and amount of stuff will leave you astonished. That's a proper georgian hospitality which is not linke to financial gains, but rather aimed to leave a great impression and to build a great relationship between the customer and the hotel management knowing that guests will certainly return…
