write the second time )) now in English The best guest house is cozy, sincere, wonderful)) - after all, the most important thing is people, wonderful Lena and Dima! They met us as the most long-awaited guests, they laid just an incredible table, with homemade sweets, berries from the garden ... we still remember)))) We were very happy, we were surrounded with such care and warmth, Lena is just magical! And what an incredible fragrant blooming garden! Both in the house and in the garden it is clear that everything was done with love, everything is very well-groomed and beautiful, the courtyard has a cozy place for gatherings, the rooms have absolutely everything you need, a hot shower. Lena took us to the track (it is very convenient that some stuff could be left at home) and met after - how nice it is to return when you are greeted like that! )) Thank you so much for such a warm welcome! Our company - Jenya, Inna, Nina, Etienne - great greetings to you from us)) hug :-* (on my avatar - Issyk-Kul)))))

We have stayed at Happy Guest with a group of teammates just for one night before heading out for a trek next morning. But during such a short period of stay, we were heartily welcomed by Elena and Dmitry. The guest house is equipped with all one needs for a comfortable stay, rooms are clean and food is delicious (btw, prepared using ingredients from their own garden, all organuc needless to say). The garden itself is a state of art and there is a patio where you can sit and enjoy the view. The hosts are fantastic, very helpful and do care about their guests and the society they live in. Would definately recommend and would stay there again.

My family, visiting from Alaska and Georgia for a vacation with our Peace Corps volunteer sister/daughter, came to the Happy Guest unexpectedly. After our reservation at the nearby Riverside Guest House was mishandled, the Happy Guest offered us last-minute accommodation. Hosts Elena and Dmitry were extremely kind to take us in with no prior notice, and we could not have been more satisfied with their B&B. The Happy Guest's rooms were comfortable and clean, and the property was complete with a tranquil patio and an expansive garden. Elena cooked elaborate and delicious breakfasts for us every morning, each meal including fresh ingredients from her own garden. Elena, a vegan herself, also provided excellent options for our vegan family member. Finding even vegetarian options in Kyrgyzstan can pose as a somewhat difficult challenge, which is why it was surprising and excellent to have a vegan host who understood the needs of one of our family members. After each breakfast, we spent time with Elena, her adorable daughter Diana, and the household kittens before heading off to our activities for the day. One day they even let us meet their pet bunny as well. The garden is wonderful and it was nice to be around a family of animal lovers similar to ourselves. Elena and Dmitry were extremely helpful and personable during our stay in Karakol. They offered us restaurant recommendations and called taxis for us whenever we needed to go into town. On our last day in Karakol, they suggested and arranged for an excellent driver to take us on a terrific trip to hot springs in the mountains. Elena and Dmitry are well-connected members of the community ready to facilitate the best experiences in Karakol for their guests and want to build and develop tourism not only within Karakol, but throughout Kyrgyzstan. Elena and Dmitry's hospitality was truly exceptional, leaving our family sad to say goodbye to our new friends at the end of our stay. We cannot recommend the Happy Guest house highly enough and if we're ever in Karakol again, we know exactly where to stay.
