Two months ago, my daughter and I booked a long weekend at the Auberge. We got back home in Montreal at midnight on March 6. We chose a package tour with Groupe Gendron. The advantage was that we did the ten hour journey from Montreal in a chartered bus. Highly recommended for winter trips when the roads might be bad!...

The area is legendary for back-country skiing, and I was able to confirm it first hand. The snow was plentiful, the weather was mild and the sun was ever present. The inn is beautifully laid out and the mountain views are spectacular. The rooms are comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The eating area is in a large room with several long...

Amazing Staff, Food is abundant and gourmet. Activities are laid out the night before and cater to all ages and levels of activeness. Cozy fireplace to talk about your days activities during Happy Hour. Off the grid in terms of communication, politics and internet.....so refreshing!!. The splitboarding was amazing and from the smiles on the skiers faces in our group...

Had wondering time hiking the trail, mountain biking and seeing the wildlife (moose etc.) along the trails. Food was wonderful, i especially enjoying how the chef and staff actually sit down and have dinner with you.

I won't mince my words: this is an exceptional venue of corresponding value. The Auberge is nested atop a circa 700m altitude mountain amidst a 60 km^2 private domain i.e. a private playground for nature enthusiasts. The Auberge is an 'all-included' resort which includes meals, activities, lodging but not alcohol. Food: There is an in-house chef. Daily menu posted the...

We received a 2 nights gift certificate as a wedding gift. What a treat. We loved it! What a gift. Fresh air at the top of a mountain in the middle of the woods the way it was intended to be. After an hour and a half drive in a special minivan, we got to the auberge. We all gathered...

My husband and I stayed there for 3 night at the end of July. We absolutely loved it! You have to know what to expect. You are away from everything, in the middle of the woods and mountains. Don't expect wi-fi and television! This place is idyllic. The scenery, grounds and accomodations are breathtaking! You will be treated like family,...

Spent a Friday to a Monday. We were five couples in our party. Everyone but me went downhill skiing and it was outstanding! I tried Meta Skiing for the first time -- it was great but I did fall a few times as the powder was heavy and above the knees! (It has snowed 50cm the previous day!) The food...
