We have been travelling to Walchsee for twenty years but this was our first stay in the Walchseerhof - it is simply perfect in an idyllic location in the Alps. The hotel is beautiful with luxurious and spacious bedrooms. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Dinner in the evening is of the highest quality. The owner and staff are rightly proud...

I shouldn't be writing this as I would like to keep Walchsee as our secret. Still I would recommend it to come and visit as it is very peaceful and relaxing to stay as a couple or with the family. Sportive holiday or also lots of family friendly things to do in the area with good or bad weather. A...

Great hotel with great hospitality. The staff is very friendly and it was a pleasant stay. The rooms are spacious and well equiped. They are furnished with an individual touch. The wellness area is located on the top floor. Some rooms offer a seaview. Walchsee is a great place for families, walking, cycling and cross country skiing.

We are leaving today and I am sad. Walchsee is an amazing little city tucked away in the Austrian Alps. It is quaint, charming with breathtaking a scenery. Our hotel was the icing on the cake. Gorge, the owner of Walchsee Hof was the best owner a guest could ask for. He was always available for whatever we needed. His...

We have just returned from this lovely hotel. We have been staying in walchsee for a number of years now but this was the first time we stayed here. The rooms are very clean and spacious and ideal for families as they have a separate room for the children. They are all tastefully furnished with lovely large bathrooms with a...

This 4 star hotel is conveniently located in the small resort of Walchsee with beautiful views onto the lake. It is a great mixture of traditional and modern. The old part with its beautiful paintings on the outside and traditional Stube. The rooms are spacious and well equiped. I loved the personal touch of the owner. Great food and nice...

Decided to go for a long weekend trip away from the city. I wanted it to be a relaxing weekend and that's what I had. Even more than that. The hotel is very nice and clean, the staff is extremely friendly and the food in the restaurant is extraordinarily delicious. The wellness area is very well kept and very nice....

Stayed for a relaxing weekend in this hidden corner of Tyrol. We wanted to get away from the buzz of the city, and found Walchseer Hof to be the perfect place. Although it was a rather wet weekend, the hotel (and it's lovely spa area) ensured it turned out lovely.
