I visited the hotel with a large group of friends and families. We all enjoyed our stay there and will definitely come back again. The hotel seemed like a real gem in the area. Being fully renovated for Winter season 18/19 the surroundings seemed very nice. Renovation was made with no compromises and with good materials and taste. Hotel location is good for skiing as ski bus stop is only 100m away and from there bus goes to both gondolas located in Wagrain in high season by 10 minutes interval, which is very convenient. Gondola stations are only less than 1 km away so it's just from one to few stops to both stations. There is also small grocery store and a cafe near the ski bus stop. Down the street there's a larger grocery store. Hotel is located on ending street so it's very quiet. The main street is just 200 meters down the street and that's where most restaurants and shops are located. There is a fabulous view from the hotel overlooking the surrounding mountains. Ski locker is warm and easy to access on ground floor. Food in restaurant was delicious, afternoon cake was superb, breakfast beats many four star hotels. Service was great from early morning until closure of lobby bar. The hotel is relatively small compared to some huge complexes and there is one advantage over those - the personal service when you get to know each other. And flexibility, nothing seemed to be an issue for our hosts. We even got to keep some rooms for showering after skiing on departure day despite of hotel being fully booked for next night. Thank you for superb stay!

Renovation was done very nicely, all surfaces were of top quality. Good firm bed in our room but in our another room the bed was clearly softer ( a tad too soft to our liking). Dinner included was ok and selection of choises (3) was sufficient. If something could be better it would be the salad buffet, it showed very little variations over the week. Breakfast was good. Location ok, short walk to skibus. Fast and nice service. Summa summarum; good choice for a family skiing vacation.

A really great family-run hotel. Room was spacious, even with 2 kids in a double room (they had a sofa bed). Food was good and they even have cake in the afternoon for tea! Only disadvantage is that the WiFi kept breaking down (kept saying no internet connection) and it can be noisy (our little balcony faced the road). We had to keep closing the balcony door anyway since we must've had smokers as neighbours (rooms are non-smoking so smokers had to step outside). One peculiarity was that there was no soap/shampoo in the shower, it was only at the sink. But there's a supermarket just down the road so that was easily remedied. All in all, it was a great holiday. There was no need to think about food. Everyone was really friendly, security was good, cleaning ladies were fast. I'd come back here if we were to make it to this region again!
