We booked for a night at the beginning of October on our way to Languedoc with our 2 dogs after seeing Tm and Ingrid's fabulous website and we weren't disappointed. The welcome and hospitality of Tim and Ingrid was faultless and the food and wines were superb and excellent value. The wines come from a domain owned by Ingrid's Uncle and...

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. We were glad to hear that, overall you enjoyed your stay and we are grateful for your positive comments about us. I am sorry though that you found our food to be "basic". We do not claim (or indeed want) to be a gastronomy restaurant with cutting...

This is a restaurant with rooms (or vice versa), but I can only review the restaurant as we were staying with friends nearby and we came to eat here. The building is in a pleasant spot by the river in the tiny village of Auzelles. It is a small restaurant, with not many tables, and a super relaxed atmosphere. It...

We stayed at this auberge on our way to the Languedoc in August. The location is beautiful and we had a very warm welcome. A great deal of care has been taken in the refurbishment that has recently taken place. We were upgraded to a beautifully equipped large room with great facilities. Dinner that evening was superb using local produce...

Thank you so very much for your lovely review of not only our little Hotel in the Auvergne, but also of your leisure experiences in this much overlooked and unknown region. We are always delighted when first time visitors to Puy-de-Dome and the Livradois Forez leave with fond memories and many come back time and time again to discover their...

Thanks for the lovely review following your short stay en-route through France. We are delighted that every aspect of your stay met your expectations. We are particularly keen to ensure everyone here unwinds and relaxes, which is not difficult of course considering the abundance of nature that surrounds us, coupled with our extra-comfy beds which we are particularly proud of....

I have given the Auberge de Chabanettes five "blobs", which is a rarity for me -- but, if you go with the correct expectation I expect you will also be charmed. Firstly, you need to know that Tim (English) and Ingrid (French) run the place (at least in September when we stayed) apparently entirely on their own. Consequently, your visit...
