Dominican Tree House Village is nestled in a jungle river valley located in the Samana Peninsula of the Dominican Republic, just minutes away from the beautiful and secluded El Valle beach. The property features 22 open air Tree Houses located on a small plantation of coffee trees, chocolate trees, avocado, coconut and many other trees and plant life. There are walking paths throughout the property, two fire pits and a waterfall rope swing. In our Main Lodge, we have an open bar and restaurant, where meals are served family buffet style. Our onsite chefs create a variety of vegetarian and vegan options and we will accommodate to just about any diet you can think of. Our staff makes you feel like family and we want every guest to have that once in a lifetime experience that they'll talk about for years to come.

Such an amazing experience here. Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating. If we needed anything they were on it in no time. The staff is amazing and the food is fantastic. Highly recommend coming here with a significant other in this hidden away experience. An immediate sense of relaxation and safety when you walk in and everybody that works there is wonderful. Met so many wonderful people, and made great connections. One of the best experience I ever had.

Property's Favorite Review
Well this place was so wonderful! Honestly it was a little nerve racking bc it really is a different experience. Not a typical all inclusive, no room service, tv Wi-Fi or AC. No coffee makers in the room. But my husband and I went in faith trusting we would love it after reading all the 5 star reviews. It was our favorite place we have ever been. We spent the extra on the VIP room and so glad we did. The seclusion and view and extra space was worth it to us but you have to be in pretty good shape to make it up the hill to yr room. So worth it though!!! We couldn’t wait to get down to the main area to discover the wonderful breakfast each morning. And the coffee and chocolate coffee was to die for! Riding the bike to the beach was a very adventurous and fun experience itself. And the beach had so few people it felt like we owned the most beautiful island on earth! We were there six nights and that was a perfect timeframe for us. This place is definitely not for everyone if AC TV and Wi-Fi are really important to you then it’s probably not for you. Also you can’t mind seeing cute little creatures like snails and lizards. The food was very good. But my one big suggestion for the resort is to work on their desserts. I really missed having dessert like we are used to an America things with chocolate, cheesecake, chocolate chip cookies etc. but I really think if the deserts had been better and more options there it would’ve been the perfect trip. But that was a very small issue because this place was so special. So in conclusion if you like secluded beaches and ultra romantic tree houses and to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and get a total reset on life this place is for you!

Loved every minute of our stay here. The staff was fantastic and so welcoming and the houses themselves were great. Loved that they changed the sheets everyday, felt like a very luxurious camping in the jungle. Exactly what I wanted.

Security is an issue. Hut was broken into by a worker while we slept. This place has potential to be really nice but missed in execution. I'm sure the theft tainted my experience, but most are huts not treehouses in my opinion. Food was good, but they need to vet the lunch options better. If you go to the beach for lunch with the voucher the person that gets your lunch changes the options and then causes a seen until you pay them more. Free Lunch not so much. I'm so glad we didn't book a week later as the last night the place was overrun my families with kids going crazy. Most of the staff is very good and friendly.

This was a great experience. Us and another couple stayed 5 nights in 2 VIP houses. Super comfortable king size bed, amazing 360 view, and a warm outside shower. Wonderful food and they really accommodated my friend who has a gluten allergy. Staff was so friendly and helpful with anything we wanted. Would recommend to anyone and their families for a wonderful different adventure!

I loved everything about this place from the room to the food and the employees were excellent to my cousin and I. I loved that they had so many things to do. We had activities planned for everyday we were there and the best part is that I got to reconnect with my self and be more present not having a way to connect with the outside world in the jungle was all I needed. I was so in love with sleeping in a treehouse. Jayjay was great I loved his energy and charisma, Zach welcomed us with such good energy and Alex's drinks were everything. I absolutely enjoyed that the food was traditional in every way possible including the taste. The manager was also very attentive and helpful, she helped me set up a private dinner for my cousins birthday that was absolutely amazingly calming and beautiful ❤️ and the night was never over with out hearing Angel talk about his childhood stories. I absolutely loved that the employees were so inclusive with us. We had conversations with them, played a few games , cracked a few jokes. I can honestly say it was one of the best vacations I've had in a while. I would definitely recommend this place and id go back my self. You guys are doing a great job !

Staying at DHTV was an incredible experience. Firstly, travelers be warned that it is quite the experience so far into the DR with a long drive and no service... but you get lost in the environment and it begins to feel like home! Knowing Spanish is a plus and would help you communicate with locals and hotel staff with ease. The grounds of the resort are STUNNING the beds are comfortable (pillows could use an upgrade)... the food delicious, the coffee amazing and the drinks flow! Laura, Angel, Alex, JJ and all staff are so friendly and accommodating, we got to know them and had great conversations. They really make you feel at home, and the friendly environment trickles over to guests, as we even made some friends to connect with back in the states! They do play loud music each night until 11pm so I will say the "zen" marketing i've seen is a bit off because it is a fun atmosphere at night, but music does go off strictly at 11 which makes for great sleep. If you want to experience the zen jungle vibes, stay on the resort one day in the afternoon when everyone is off at the beach or excursions, the staff are chillen, no music and the place is so quiet and serene. Overall a great experience, there are some not so "luxury" things I could critique... but the whole point is to be off the grid and immersed in nature... so thats what you get!!!! amazing cannot wait to come back !

I don’t have the words to express how incredible Dominican Treehouse Village is! The food was delicious and fresh, the rooms were clean, the area was so peaceful and beautiful. But most importantly, the staff made this experience even better. Thank you to Laura, Angel, Alex, and JJ for making our time there unforgettable. If you want to do a free activity I highly recommend taking the bikes to the beach. Also, take out cash before getting there for tips. If you have any questions dm me @ euphoria_petrichor
