The room was lovely but for my entire stay there was no hot water. I had a king sized bed, in a separate bedroom. A couch and a Kitchen. Their was good food available on site though if you were staying for a while the choices would be limited. The compound is a quick drive to Samaná. It is it quiet and peaceful.

On the 3rd -6th of February, we stayed at the Bannister hotel. The hotel reception was amazing. We were allowed to check in much earlier than normal time and this stuff spoke English very well. They also matched the lowest price on booking.com which was great and saved us lots of money. The rooms were very beautiful, spacious and very clean. We had the ocean view which was very pretty with pretty sunsets, and overlooked the yachts. They have few restaurants with different types of food and they also have a food market where you can buy things if you want to cook or water and alcoholic drinks. This was definitely one of the best experience I had as a traveler. I would definitely recommend this hotel any time, a special thanks to one of the staff members Yelaine who also gave us nice recommendations for where we can go during our stay there like Plats Rincon, whale watching any many. They also recommended drivers to pick us up from the hotel and take us where we were going. Loved it and we would stay here again. …

We stayed from Monday to Wednesday. For a quiet time away this is the place. Evenings where so peaceful, hardly could hear people talking, no loud music. Just waves. We sat on the terrace overlooking the bay. So tranquilo! Room was clean and everything worked. Staff were very professional and showed care and attentiveness to our needs. The restaurants had great tasting food and courteous staff. They even organized our whale watching excursion. I will definitely go again! Thank you.

Bad bad experience. We arrived at the hotel after a 16h flight. Did the checking and everything seems fine…until we realized that there was NO WATER AT all in the hotel. ( and the internet in the room does no works too). Mind there are abundant reviews mentioning the issue, but the hotel keeps taking guests. We spoke to the staff and they ensured ( many times) that water would be restored…it didn’t. For a place that calls itself a 5 start luxury hotel, this is a bad joke.

I highly recommend this hotel The room is big and super clean. The view from the room is amazing, there is a good pool. The food is delicious. And the hotel workers are wonderful and kind. We definitely will be back soon

The staff was great, specially "walking" from the reception! The foosld , the room, the service, the restaurant, the pools and the room service was really nice. After a week in las terenas z pas galeras and samana it was nice to have some good hotel.

I went with my family for Easter weekend. This place was different from other places I’ve been to in DR. It was a secluded Gem. Great atmosphere, amazing vibe, villas are very nice and clean. Amazing views & hospitality. I was able to do a day trip to las galeras and cayo levantado via boat with their accommodation as well.

Been here several times before. Enjoy it as I am a boat person and very comfortable surrounded by them. Great room and products. Both restaurants were done well with good selections. Property needs some maintenance but overall is a perfect hideaway.

Great hotel, services and staff. Beautiful tranquil setting. Comfortable beds and beddings. Quiet AC. Lots of space. Super safe. No mosquitoes. Pristine ocean club. From morning to night, you can choose tranquil or active. Tennis courts and racquets available too
