These kind of places are now easier to find (thanks GPS!), and they have never let us down. A neat room, and local cuisine, wonderful view, what else? My Master card was not accepted, bancomat was OK, quite a common phenomenum, that took one star off.
Good place to spend a few days if vacationing in the area. Small town, a couple of restaurants within walking distance, as well as a few sights of interest. If so inclined, one can walk to the Nepalese temple from the hotel. Hotel itself is on the main street, our room was somewhat in the back so no real street noise to speak of. Room smelled and was clean, comfortable beds, modern bathroom with soap dispenser, decent, but just a bit on the small side, towels, also had washcloths. Shower in our room had a shower curtain which sort of billows inward making it somewhat uncomfortable when showering, but it was workable. Mirror in the bed room which we find is extremely useful when the other person is showering and fogging up the bathroom mirror. Flat screen TV in the room, no phone. Good selection for breakfast, hard boiled eggs, standard selection of plain and seeded buns and breads, cold cuts, cheese, cereal, yogurt, jams. Good coffee. Plenty of parking space. Would definitely stay here again.…
Small family-run guest house. Very helpful, friendly, accommodating. Tiny but spotlessly clean rooms, good price, including breakfast. Parking provided, and also (simple) push-bikes available for free to explore the area. Free Internet (though with a lengthy registration). Breakfast on the cheap side, with just enough choice. Small downsides: When arriving around 18:00 there was nobody to hand out the WiFi-password, so we were without service for the first day. There are drinks from a machine in the basement which is cumbersome to operate, and the two times I used it, the bottles didn't fall down.
