Stayed here for one night, just passing through the area. The accommodation was reasonable enough, given the location. Comfortable bed and pretty good aircon, although it was a little loud. Breakfast was in the small restaurant across the courtyard. Various light options, all fresh and tasted great. No time to order anything hot.

A mixture of modern and vintage Philippine architecture, this hotel's ambiance is homey. It's situated in a very good location just walking distance to Sto. Nino parish, to Real St., and to public transportation leading you to various city destinations. Hotel has Socsargen restaurant (seafoods) within the vicinity but cheaper meal options and street barbeques are overwhelming around the hotel.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw our room in Rosvenil. It was nice sized, the beds were comfortable and the airconditioner was cold. Downside for Rosvenil was the noisy 4th floor it being an events place. Another downside is the small restaurant which doesn't seem to open during lunch time. Reception staff needs a little more training to act... More

The rooms are spacious and overall comfortable at a relatively fair price. I liked my experience during my stay. And I may be nitpicking here but they could do a better job of cleaning the rooms, I'm not sure if they even wipe the mirrors and the glass shower divider. There were also webs at corners. If they don't pay... More

I stayed in this hotel with my hubby! Breakfast was good at the mini resto. The elevator was working great. The rooms have balcony. It was homey and warm. I would definitely recommend this to my friends.

Staff are friendly, hotel is clean and is well priced. The standard rooms on the top floor have water views which makes the down grade worth it. Maintenance could be improved however overall it is good and clean. The main difference between standard and deluxe is the deluxe are newer.

While I am heading to Tacloban during my solo bacpacking and the night is approaching I search tons of hotels and all are fullybooked. Rosvenil has still available room so i grab it even it is quite expensive. The room is small but still ok. Room is old and you can see it has been washed up by the flood... More

Rosvenil Hotel is not a budget hotel by any standard. However, it is priced very reasonably. Quaint and historical and resilient structure. Very quaint facade, featuring the owners' original Spanish style home. Some history attached to it. Resilient from the most devastating typhoon (Yolanda) ever witnessed by Tacloban. Yet, the structure remained miraculously intact. Rooms are spacious and clean. Blankets... More
