Lovely hotel with nice views and a decent location. Pluses - Great swimming pools, quick laundry service, decent breakfast, helpful bar staff. Negatives - bar/restaurant under staffed, wifi patchy, some reception staff better than others.

This is the new name of the hotel. The original buildings were all destroyed after Typhoon Yolanda. The theme is eclectic Thai. There's a pool right beside the main lobby. The restaurant is also frequented by locals. The rooms are spacious, clean . The beds and linen are 3-star quality. Service is good. The waiters had a dance number while...

The rooms and bed linen were clean (as you would expect) and had good aircon. The staff polite, cheerful and helpful, but the room was starting to look in need of some redecoration and minor maintenance. The gardens were well kept and pleasant. Overall, good value for money and an enjoyable stay.

We had a seminar just recently and we were booked at the Terrace Villa which was very quiet and cozy. The staff are very accommodating and the ocean view provided peace and calm. So ideal for work and leisure.

3 days before my flight, I get an email from the hotel saying the pool is closed for maintenance. No closure date or reopening date given. Too late to change my booked suite. This is crap. The website needs to post a notice. The hotel needs to comp this room. No excuse.

Pros: Staff and the view of ocean/mountains. Cons: pool was under "emergency maintenance" although it probably hasn't been open in years. No beach or pools. Not as clean as we would have liked (beer bottles lying around outside, dirty tables), room was clean enough but nothing amazing. Breakfast was basic. Not sure if there's anywhere else better around though. Overall...

Excellent location for views with good and close access to town area. Quality of food is good with good portion sizes. Facilities are run down and in need of maintenance and repairs with some existing damage from dynamic remaining. Pools are not in operation and are awaiting repairs. Rooms are very basic and not reflective of advertising. Staff are very...
