We returned delighted from this stay in the south of Portugal, it is an establishment on a human scale with 14 rooms and apartments. The infinity pool with mountain views is truly a must! The establishment is really peaceful, quiet, here in the evening, no entertainment, simply the calm of the mountains. All rooms face the swimming pool. This family structure is run by Isabelle and her brother, they really take care of us, breakfast is included in the price of the rooms, which themselves are very well equipped with fridge and a few dishes, we had Elsewhere, during our two evenings spent there, we were able to have a small dinner on our terrace in tapas style, really very pleasant. In addition, the establishment is really very clean. it's a place that we recommend, and we would be ready to return... For information, shops and a gas station are a few minutes from the establishment by car.

Fantastic place in all aspects! We went for only two nights as part of a bike trip, would have wished to stay longer - Rooms are great, beds comfortable, breakfast delicious, view amazing, nature and suroundings just what you need to disconnect and relax. The staff in this family driven hotel is helpful, kind and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place!

We were delighted with the place. Very good for resting, escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life as you don't hear any noise. The staff very friendly. The room was very clean. The bed very comfortable. The breakfast was very good, with quality products. I loved the carob butter.

Beautiful place, quiet environment and very nice staff. Simple but very well decorated space and very well cleaned. Just a little far away from where we can get take away food. Excellent breakfast and very inviting pool. We loved it!

What a fabulous hotel. It's my absolute favourite. Everything is perfect; the facilities, the breakfast, the infinity pool, the views, the tranquility and most importantly the amazing service. It is also spotlessly clean and I applaud the staff for their efforts to keep it that way year after year. This will be the 5th time I stay here and already looking forward to my next one. We stumbled upon this place online and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed ! The rooms are self-catering, equipped with heat and AC and small kitchen. Breakfast comes in a beautiful basket with all local foods. The jams are made on the property. They provided roaming wifi to take off the property during the day. When we arrived check in was quick and efficient and Isabelle gave great local information. Faro is just a few kilometers away. We spent one day in Faro and traveled the entire coastline to the farthest point west. We were never more than 1.5 hours away from the hotel. We did not deal with hoards of people, buffet food, or loud crowds. This property is a gem hidden away for peace and quiet. We will stay there again.

We were looking for a place for a short stay in October and decided to try Monté do Ribeira. My first choice would have been the Pousada Palacio de Estoi but there was a problem with the dates. Monte da Ribeira had been recommended by friends who live in the area and said it would make a good base,
We certainly were not disappointed. The bedrooms are very pleasant and excellent value for money. We didn't use the swimming pool but enjoyed sitting outside and just relaxing. There are some great seafood restaurants in Olhao worth trying. Overall, excellent value for money.

A delightful, peaceful place for those who love nature and silence. We have stayed here several times already and will definitely be back. Very nice, helpful, and friendly owners and all employees. No problem with the parking space. The rooms are clean, comfortable beds; the only negative can be if you come across noisy neighbors. Swimming pool with great views. Fresh and quality products for breakfast. Everything you need to relax and unwind. We can definitely recommend this hotel.
